Albanian-Romanian, cousin languages
Are Romanians just latinised Albanians? Romanians say no. They say that before the Romans came to the Balkans, they were Dacians, while Albanians derive from Illyrians. But hey. What if Dacia and Illyria were just two units of land inhabited by the same nation? I mean, look at Australia and United States today. They have different names. But they are populated by the same english speakers. To prove this, check out a list of their language which didn't undergo the latinization process most of their words went. Of course I am not a linguist. I don't speak Romanian. I just did a simple research on google translate to achieve these stunning results. Scientist of course can do better. And you can enrich this list too, with your findings. Try it by yourself. If you are Albanian or Romanian, simply pick any word and translate it into the other language. Almost for sure among the synonyms of the translation you will find a word which evidently is very similar to the original one. If you are foreigner, write the words in english and translate in both languages. Check around synonyms and will find what you seek. Have fun. And don't believe those idiots trying to say that only a few words of Romanian are borrowed by Albanian. There was no borrowing. We are the same nation. It just happened that Romans latinized Romanians at 80% and Albanians at only 20%. What is not latin in Romanian language is Albanian. And what is not Albanian in Albanian language, is Romanian.
PS. Take present that even if some words appear not to be similar, it is because of the different orthography used by the two languages. For example: the Romanian ă is identical to the Albanian ë. The Romanian c is identical to the Albanian k. Etc etc. Take this in mind while reading the vocabulary.
