Seeing them at the Honda Battle of the Bands and Battlefest South was my first time seeing them. I must say that I'm now a fan of the MRSB. Good job at both venues. Reggie Marching 101 Band 1996-1999

For the person who said that the band director was being a imitator: ASU's band director is a graduate of Southern.

We never modeled ourselves after Southern. Our band director graduated from southern and before he came to ASU he was at Cedar Grove in Ellenwood. He's fascinated with drills and that's his style and his orders and we executed as ordered...

And which band would that be? I am sure it was the first band ever to march 8-5 with squad sets and these drills - heaven forbid you name someone that didn't originate this style (or even this particular drill) themselves. *patiently awaiting the educated response ;-)*............................................
