I don't know you, nor you me, but I noticed from one of your other videos that you've recently returned to KZitem from illness. I just wanted to say if it's any consolation, that your work and the way you do your demonstrations are incredibly inspiring to me. I have suffered with chronic illness since 35 and I'm now 57yrs old and the one thing that's kept me sane is art. So when looking for new crafts to do, I am so thankful for people like you who take the time to show people like me how to get started. I wish you luck on your road to recovery and hopefully knowing there's a complete stranger living all the way over here in the UK whose day you just improved just because you took the time to share, will bring you some pleasure.

Thank you so much, Gabrielle. I've watched several different artist videos of alcohol ink art and found yours one of the best. Very well done, easy to watch and listen to, and informative. I love what you have created and will keep trying. So far I have not had much luck but I know practice, practice, practice!

Stunning!! I've been a fan of yours for a few years now and I love your work. You even inspired me to have a go at mixed media when I watched your videos with the beautiful couture figure and the "always danced" canvas. I made them for my best friends birthday and she loved them. They've been hanging in her room for 5 years now, she even boasts to her niece that they are exclusive "art works" HA HA. Anyway I just wanted to let you know that your work inspires so many people and I for one am very thankful to you.

Gabrielle, what beautiful flowers you have created here-what a great technique! I wonder if I can use this with acrylics. I will give it a try. But alcohol inks are clearly a very effective medium for this method. Thanks for sharing.

I went back to watch the video from February and saw that you had posted a new one. This is lovely and I plan on trying it soon. Love, love, love it!! I hope mine looks half as good as yours. I have been playing around with the 5 x7 sheets of Yupo - so afraid to 'mess up' any of the large sheets, but I'm just going to go for it. You mentioned showing how to mount and do a poured finish. I will watch for that video too.

Awesome painting. I don't know if anyone asked this before, but what is your opinion on Dr. Ph. Martin alchohol inks. I've seen videos on other brands. I just purchased a set for less than 50% due to coupons from Michaels. I'm just starting out. I am a new subscriber. Thanks for your tutorial.

I love these flowers that you create. They are beautiful!! I have kind of gotten the hang of doing it (really kinda of), however, the black and blue drops (literally one drop each) spread to quickly and it covers too large of an area, so the middle is too large. what am i doing wrong?

Hey Gabrielle, thank you for your very helpful video! I am learning to work with Alcohol Ink and just tried out your technique. I used a straw and i have a problem where i hoped you might help me with? Using the straw is nice cause it is easy to control but it gets wet quickly so after using it a couple of times water drops appeared on my art and sort of desteoyed it. It dosent look like this happens to you in the video so i was hoping you had an idea how to prevent this from happening? Thank you very much! Lisa

Great tutorial Gabrielle. I love your style and choice of colors. I have been ready to do what they are calling a "dirty pour". I love the look here and thought I would try a similar canvas piece with the acrylics, treadmill oil, and Floetrol liquid to get the cells. I have to clear space as it is a rather "dirty" job. hahahaha Thanks for the inspiration. It has been a rough month of illness for me. This was a nice video to watch while recouping. Have a fantastic week my friend.

Gorgeous, Gabrielle! You're so talented! I've loved your different kinds of art since I first saw it a few yrs back. I've wanted to try making Yupo and alcohol ink art for a long time but was always busy with other things. Now would be a great time time, since we're all house bound. I have everything but the Yupo paper. 1 question, please? The 91% rubbing alcohol is impossible to get now because of the Pandemic. You said in another video we could use 99% alcohol. I've never 99% here in the U.S. My husband said to ask about using plain Vodka? The Liquor stores are open in my state so I can get that. Can I use plain Vodka instead or does it have to be 91% rubbing alcohol? I might have just a little bit left in my paint stash drawer. My art instructor from yrs ago used plain, cheap vodka to thin out her paints. I'm just trying to think of something since we can't get rubbing alcohol, masks, gloves, hand sanitizer or tp. I understand everything except people buying up all the toliet paper? That's crazy.😵 lol, but true!! Anyway, thank you, Gabrielle. 👍 ! Stay safe and Healthy ~
