Hi everyone! This week, Connor is sharing his story of redemption, and how Jesus rescued him out of the pits of hell, to fully and completely restore him. His testimony is heavy and dark, full of drug addiction, meth, overdosing, alcoholism, sexual sin, and even robbery. But it just makes me that much more proud of the man he has become, and how he has let God transform him. Our God is so good.
His transformative story is just evidence of how when we give God our lives and let him lead the way, he will heal us, place new desires in our heart, and is able to pour out his blessings on us. It also shows me that when we are chasing the world, the devil really has the opportunity to take our lives and spin them out of control. If you give the enemy an inch, he will take a mile.
To be honest, many parts of this story are details that both he and I would rather leave in the past and would rather no one ever know about. They aren’t details he or I mention often. But lately, we have felt great urgency and a calling to put Connor’s story out into the public, in hopes to inspire or encourage others to put their hope in Jesus. We have come to realize that it isn’t about us and our pride being broken, but it is about magnifying our Lord and how worthy he is of our praise! God’s miraculous healing over Connor and His love have been poured out to us in ways we cannot comprehend, and that is truly something to shout from the mountaintops!
It’s also important for us to show people that there is a misconception that if you are on fire for God, you have always been close to Him, and don’t know a life without Him. Or that your life is perfect or has always been perfect, and maybe you “just don’t understand.” We are here to show you that that is simply not true. In fact, stories of miraculous recovery and redemption are just that much more powerful! God can save you from any situation you are in, if you’ll simply allow him to. The world is a crazy place right now and there is so much uncertainty, but the one thing we can find stability and solace in, is the firm foundation of the Lord.
We thank God for Connor’s healing and the way Connor joyfully pursues God in his life now, daily. What a long, but beautiful journey it’s been for him, as he’s escaped from being an alcoholic, a drug addict, a meth user, and from the man he was, back when he overdosed. The man described in this video is simply unrecognizable, and is not a man that I have ever known. This just shows how completely and fully our God has restored him. He has made Connor new and we rejoice in this!
Thanks everyone for watching! We always appreciate your support, whether that’s with a like, by subscribing, or by leaving a comment. That helps this video be seen by more people, which is our main goal! We are trying to get the Word of God out there, and sharing his testimony seems like a good way to do so, so please help us out in spreading the good news! :)
Let us know if you are struggling with any of these same things, or leave a comment below about how God has transformed you or already rescued you out of these pits! And if you haven’t already posted your testimony, do it today!!
