It actually sounds pretty good. It has a nice smooth sound. When I saw the picture of the microphone in the thumbnail I thought it was going to be a USB microphone but was glad to see it was an XLR microphone. That pack for the money looks like a good deal.

I don't hate it for the price, but I think I'd take a Behringer dynamic and save a few bucks. They should sell that shock mount separately though, that does look pretty sweet. Speaking of Behringer, any news on the new B906? I imagine that would be right in your wheelhouse.

For what it's worth, I do not particularly like the sound of the Broadcaster (and you don't seem to use it much these days). And yes, I am re-watching videos from over a year ago. Mic videos continue to be my "comfort food" as I work from home.

look up 797 audio in china they make mike parts for everyone. Dont be fooled everything they make is rebraned and sold at more expensive price by companys like rode and all the other brands even neumann. All these mic reviewers wont tell you this because it's there way to make money. i bought a micwl tlm 102 just the same as a neumann tlm 102 here is a video demo i done. £80 from china for the same branded mic there £700. i dont care about youtube views just good equipment at cheap prices. Because no one is making money on youtube so i am not spending anytime doing videos. kzitem.info/news/bejne/zJCbzaido3yfiYY&pbjreload=101 kzitem.info/news/bejne/zJCbzaido3yfiYY&pbjreload=101

@@ObscureMics best mics for cost are dynamic mic akg d5..condensor behringer b-2 pro but the micwl tlm 102 is twice as good and cheaper. here is some intresting information ......when Rode moved the manufacturing of their original NT2 (highly regarded at the time) from China to Australia, their Chinese manufacturer, 797audio, was left with inventory of body shells and capsules... ...Behringer contracted the original B2 (cardioid only) from 797audio using those same bodies and capsules (797audio is one of the better capsule manufacturers in China...trained by German engineers) using a stock circuit copied from a vintage German design...the B2 was well recieved and the B2-Pro was later added as a multi-pattern version... ...to my knowledge, the B2-Pro is still built by 797audio (if you look on the circuit board you may still see the "797audio" logo etched on the surface)...797audio built many of the better quality Chinese mics

@@ObscureMics Yeah. That's what's so lame about such brands. They COULD make something good. Like f.e. sE Electronics does. But instead they make something half-assed, where any consumer-confidence in the product is shot to the ground by such false graphs.

@@ObscureMics In other, related news: Damn I'm tired of OEM mics 🤢🤮 I'm not sure, but I think Thomann has recently released a rebranded version of this Alctron mic. It's called the t.bone MB 7 Beta (clearly a pun on two well-known Shure mics). At first I thought: "Nice! Thomann had an inexpensive mic created! Cool." - only to realize it's prolly the same mic already released by other "brands". Originality and authenticity has become a huge plus in my "mic-buy-book". Hence I ordered a Heil PR 40 yesterday. That's a mic that takes a stance. A mic with a personality and one it stands by, 100%

Nice shirt. i bought that DKs ‘fresh fruit’ tape in 1980 when i was 15..one of the best albums ever. I saw DKs in my home town Brisbane, Australia in 1981..awesome. Alctron Mic sounds a turkey if its got mud. Looking for el cheapo to record acoustic slide guitar..something that maybe rolls off the bottom end..i dunno. I have a rode nt1, shure sm57/8, some drum mics..none are really great. Can you recomend a budget condenser?? Subbed and liked. Will check your other vids mate. Cheers

what ever reason you make video i allways never listen to mike reviews what do you know about being a musician or even recording music. Why do you even need a valve mic to record your voice. the chinese really do give the wrong people there mics to review.because if it was a good mike they would give it to musicians who make music to demo it.

So I have my podcast that I want to sound the best for apple podcast I currently use a q2u for my buddy (best for his voice) and a podmic for myself ( just really like it) and a Scarlett 2i2 and record thru audacity then after I’m done have to do a few steps for my post processing what device can I replace my Scarlett with for a decent price that does the compression for me so we can maybe live stream and sound the best. Thanks if you have the answer if not I appreciate any response sir thanks.
