Not true. Biden's collapse of the country is causing inflation, but supermarkets are now feeling a little braver, especially after 100,000 turned out at the Wildwood New Jersey rally with former NFL superstars Lawrence Taylor and O.J. Anderson of NY Giants. There is light at the end of the tunnel!

Actually, grocery stores in Venezuela have been completely stocked for years. But because of hyperinflation no one can afford food in Venezuela. Grocery store owners have not lowered prices in Venezuela. The result is people in venezuela have starved to death as a result of their own deviant qactions. 100% beyond qa shadow of a doubt ABSOLUTE FACT.

One good thing about the prices being high is im buying so much less junk food and pop. The best thing is realizing i didnt need it. Plus, my fridge is where veggies went to die...i ended up throwing away more than 50% of everything i bought. Now my shopping involves more thought on what I'll actually eat rather than the... ill eventually eat it if i have time.

I'm in Georgia and I've been seeing people post that they lost foodstamps. Also, credit cards are maxing out. When the people who aren't working to pay for groceries are taken out of the equation, prices come down. Yesterday, I got a head of iceberg lettuce for 99 cents. Reduced price because no buyers. Last week, I got a huge tub of organic spring mix for $1.49. I've also been getting veggie mixed bads fot $2.99, a 2lb bag. Three weeks ago, I got ground chuck for $2.14 a pound. Reduced price because they couldn't sell it. I stocked up. A month ago, I got large whole chickens for $5. All from Ingles. Aldi has boxes of pasta kits for 99 cents. I get salsa and blue cheese from Aldi because its cheaper than Walmart. I've started a diet. I had been using up my stash. The price increases were unbelievable. Walmart is so busy. The only place to escape the crowd is the toilet paper isle. I found out why yesterday. Toilet paper is crazy expensive. I said, nope and went on. I have two other bathrooms I'll get paper from and hopefully we will see a price decrease.

Becky here - since canned corn is now product of Thailand for the wal mart brand, think I will wait to see if prices come down at Aldi and stock up……wal mart is maybe getting less than 1% of my shopping dollar due to poor quality and now country of origin issues. Aldi has pretty much become my go to store, other than Publix when they have the BOGO deals.

I used to do a ton of shopping at Walmart as well, for groceries. When an Aldi opened in my city and I got used to shopping there, I never looked back. Now I only go to Walmart or Hy-Vee (expensive!!! except for weekly deals) for things that Aldi doesn't have.

Is that what's called "dropping prices?" It's almost summer. Considering the size of Earth and different climates, it's a harvest season in some parts of the world. That's also when the previous year harvest gets used up freeing space for the new one. No miracles or mysteries there. It's spring, so chickens lay more eggs. Meat birds are kept through the winter, so it's harvest time, same for pigs and cows. All of this happens every season, every year. Looks like some stores use it to their advantage.

Good news! I hope it lasts but...? I may revisit Poplar.I wasn't wild about where he put some blame years ago. I think it goes much farther than most realize and don't get me started on immigration. If they had wanted to stop the blood at the border, they would have started with clamping down on the EMPLOYERS. Most started coming to make a better life , as did almost all of our families.(There were no immigration laws to speak of for many, many years; our people just showed up) I know there are bad people coming in, but we have had that forever. Many bad groups from other parts came in 'legally' decades with ago no scrutiny because of political ties, (SE Asia, Eastern Europe), who brought in organized crime, and more are coming from all over. We're even having a time in this small town with SE Asians running drug businesses, although many others are good people. Good people and bad from everywhere are being used to polarize us and be ready to be the planned problem for us to all beg for the martial law in the the 'Patriot Act' when SHTF.

I like Aldi, would shop there more often if they opened earlier, but we have been watching you show us price changes of 1 or 2 cents at Aldi many times. I shop with a price book, meaning that I record the price of many items I purchase regularly and so I know a good price when I see one. I would like to think that we will see significant savings at Aldi. Happy to shop there for the best deal.
