I cannot fathom what it must have been like to be there. I wouldn't even know what to do with myself while taking in this absolutely perfect performance. Cortini is just a treasure.

I don't think it matters, in the end, what is on the table. The important part is that Cortini is making amazing things by hand, live, with the tools he has at hand. Advantage, yes. But there's plenty of people with extensive synth collections that do nothing of note with them.

Very simple music. Nicely done and nice fidelity with the Buchlas but nothing special. Baseline doing 4/5 not d minor dorian melody, arpeggio transposed manually on occasion and string/pad sound playing one note, opening/closing filters and adjusting envelopes and wave shapes slightly to add tension, We've been doing this sound/style in the Underground for many years. Perhaps we can't afford Buchla's but all an artist needs is a brush. Check David August - Epikur for how this sound is done more interestingly.

Look up the EMS Synthi AKS - it's the full keyboard and synth, it's not a keyboard controller, like a MIDI keyboard....it's the same thing Pink Floyd used on the song, On the Run, off of their album Dark Side of the Moon.
