Wear a belt Alex! This is pretty epic, thanks for the upload. I appreciate the low-key commentating as well. I usually mute videos because of obnoxious commentators, but this one was pleasant. Props :)

Thank you for trying to help, but in this video he is not using a Mezz or an OB cue. I know he's being sponsored by them, but the cue he's using has 4 traditional points/veneers.

Funny how there is always people in the comments bitching and moaning about something. If you were a true billiards fan, you would enjoy the different stories of commentators. Especially when a match is as one sided as this one was. Darren is a GREAT player, and so is Alex. Alex just got the best of him that day. But people always want to complain about something not being perfect. Grow up and learn some respect for the sport and the people bringing it to you for free.

@Aspirahful

In regards to your question, I honestly think Alex is the best all around player. The few that the other guy mentioned are just your typical world class players. When it comes to different disciplines, I would categorize players by their ability to play one pocket, straight pool, rotation and eight ball effectively. And, SVB, Alex P, Darren are all superb in those games as well

Thats what i thought, too. I mean please. They are talking about the players being tired and played 14 hours of pool at a time. they do nothing, really nothing to make the match interesting for the viewers. Everyone feels the same way as appleton did after one hour of spectating. thx for the upload though.

+Stanwoody Usually the commentators have been sitting there for 12 to 15 hours a day with breaks for no pay. As well as the videos are free for you. I appologise it is not perfect but we dont charge so we are lucky to have whoever is there. As we go we learn more as well how to control the situation to please everyone. Try some of the newer matches you might see a evolution.
@Stanwoody

Fine it is free. You are trying to promote cue sports. Silence would be better. When they are saying what ever enters their minds, they distract from your purpose. If I were seated next to these guys at a match, I would change my seat. Good informed commentators can add to the experience. These guys subtract from it.

again, they were not paying attention to the match. They were have a conversation about what ever came into their minds. Yeah the mute button is a option, but silent movies went out of fashion in 1927. The sound of the balls hitting are part of the experience. Try watching with the sound off. See if it isn't missing something.
