Your right-hand floor tom is enough to make a cute kitten's fluffy fur rock-hard. Seriously, it's literally got me sinking into my couch and grinning like a dog getting its belly rubbed. Every "DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooooooooooommmmmmmmmmm" makes me happy inside. And I thoroughly (At Home) enjoyed the cover =)

He's trained himself to use his left foot when he is leading with the right hand, and use his right foot when he is leading with the left hand. That is how he has the limb coordination that he does.

See that is what I was thinking too but it seems he really prefers to use his right foot for HH control and also his ride cymbal is on his left side. Typically even open drummers still have their ride on the right. The idea behind "open drumming" is not crossing your arms. I think this guy is just wicked good.

I love the tom sounds but I think I also think they could do with some gating in the mixing stage, almost a little bit too huge because in fills the overtones can go on too long and drown out the rest of what he is doing

I'm curious if he was taught by Mike Mangini or Travis Orbin who was taught by Mike Mangini. Because the way his kit is always symmetric the way he alternates from right to left playing and I even believe those are the Mike Mangini signature sticks but I may be wrong. Anyways if not he has a whole lot in common with those guys all of which are great drummers.

Well, it's obvious that his drumming style is ambidextrous, but it doesn't just occur to a lot of people that he'd be using his left foot on the double pedal, too. The fact that it's just not natural to most people makes it less noticeable (At least from my perspective.) Seeing the same correlation with his hands is painfully obvious because it's above his waist and you can see them well throughout the whole video. His legs aren't always as noticeable.
