When I lost my friend in Afghanistan in 2011 his mums words to me were ‘bring him home’ after much begging I flew him home to be with his family. During the service his mum held my hand. I wasn’t going to let go. Seb, I will never forget the day you died with me in a ditch in Afghanistan. I stayed with you until your family took you to your rest. I think about you everyday. Sleep well mucker xx

Soaked up those stories like a sponge. We are a theatre family, although I'm really the one who can sing and play anything. Saw Les Mis 7 times, memorized the score, and this song for high school talent show. Did the performance to 2000 people........crickets......mom was scared I was going to start slinging 4 letter words.........when everyone stood up and started screaming. My heart just about burst. Song was about prayer for saving of lives, and all I could do was grin and wave was I left the stage.
