What an awesome much overdue fishing trip. Tim is absolutely right, the best meals are in the backcountry. He is definitely a chef at heart! I wad in at ragged on the Friday night, ran into Kanu on the portage. I heard those storms started a couple of fires in the park, hopefully the rain did them in. Glad you all had magnificent time! Kevin if you're looking for another gear suggestion I'd recommend the small sized scotty rod holder with the clamp mount that goes on canoe gunnels. So much more convenient, easier to see fish hits, easier to paddle, and easier to get the rod tip down and in turn get your baits down more.

The shot when you are cutting the trout with Ash, or "Speedoman" should have been the thumbnail. I completely agree with Tim; the best meals are in the backcountry. Also, I really liked Mike's t-shirts. The amount of fish you guys catch is just amazing. The scene you conoeing in the moonlight was so soothing and magical. When are you doing a trip with Andy, Ash, and Tim? Now that will be an epic video.
