@New Ancient It is to me about city meets country, having experience of both I would say if you took a sample of people coming from a city environment, you would find they know little or nothing of Paganism, if anything it would be what they've been taught in school, the system has obviously failed miserably for these people, having little knowledge of the Island they live on and it's history, and unable to place Avebury or Stonehenge on the map. There is an estimated quarter of a million pagans in UK at present (and that number does not include Hindu's etc) a fast growing number and presence that should be acknowledged. I would however question Channel 4s intent, in the making and editing of this, and not so much the individuals.

British paganism isn't exclusively white. It's just that it is rooted mainly from the northern pre-Christian traditions and not many people from other cultures feel drawn to it because they have their own historic religions to turn to. There are a few exceptions. I've met one or two people of African descent who have felt more at home with Celtic paganism. It's more to do with what sings to your heart and spirit than anything else. There used to be a Hoodoo store in Glastonbury, less than 200 yards from where they were asking about Caribbean food. Glastonbury is a very eclectic place. Many Eastern forms of paganism are represented there alongside other spiritualities. BTW, 'paganism' means any non-Christian religion.
@operationgoldfish8331
Жыл бұрын
@New Ancient I don't really have a personal definition, because I really think that skin colour is a stupid basis for dividing up the human race. However, in the context of this video, I'd say the definition is more cultural and refers to those of northern European origin, which is where the pagan traditions expressed in the video actually come from. This said, it is possible to identify connections between British Traditional Paganism and Hinduism. So there is likely to be connection to an Indo-European stem religion. As a British Wiccan, I mostly follow the gods of the ancient Celts, but there are two Hindu deities that are also revered in our household, as well as the Egyptian goddess Bast. I personally consider all human expressions of spirituality as equally valid but I think it's often easier to relate to those connected to your own geographical area. In my own experience of British Paganism, I have only encountered a handful of people from either African or Middle Eastern backgrounds at gatherings or rituals. I consider this a shame, and I wish we were more inclusive but, as I said in my first post, it does seem to be mostly due to a cultural preference.

This can be viewed in many ways. It's a television programme after all. Telling lies visually. The producers of this show had an angle. What I saw was C4 attempting to belittle Paganism and the ceremonies taking place. One could ask why? My answer would be, so that the people who watch TV (generally - & I don't like generalising because it doesn't include everyone) are being hypnotised by the black box.. Because that is its purpose. Black Box Programming. To keep people's consciousness in a black (consciously dark box) limited perception. To casts dark spells and black magic. It implants false truths, inversions and perversions in the viewers mind. And this is what this programme did. Clearly. It was taking the piss out of druids and paganism, which in truth, if you were to actually be with them and feel what they are about and listen and feel into the knowledge and wisdom they have and share you would potentially find it way more real than the bullshit and nonsensicality of that which is portrayed by TV programmes. The reason they are called programmes is because they are programming people to be the way they want the viewer to be. They have and still are shaping behaviour and warped culture. So they have no doubt in my mind purposely created this show to divert people from the truth in paganism so as to keep people dumb to it's true power and essence. Lethal Bizzle's bars were hard hitting truth. I could see they were listening and they appreciated it. Also, there was clearly a racial angle being portrayed here, where even Alhan himself (unknowingly or knowingly only he knows) is being used as a pawn to push the 'UK has a racism problem', which is designed by the dark ones who created the matrix / Babylon system to perpetuate division and hatred. They are continuing to do this by pushing the supposed racism problem, which I see as a fiction. Sure, there are some people who live in England that are racist, however the majority of people accept,.btace, cherish and love all races. We live in a beautiful diverse country. Only the perpetuation of the projected racism problem keeps gaslighting it. It isn't necceasry. So the request, if one truly wants to rise up out of division and hatred, people need to become aware of how the false matrix works and expose it for the untruth and deception that it is. And when you see it for what it is, splice it in half by speaking out. Say what you see. Be courageous. Use your voice and words to speak truth and cast positive spells. White Magic the way a druid does. The way bards do. Which the bard in green with the shades on did. He was calling out the devil, with which the dark matrix creators align their consciousness with.
