Ali G was presented as "the voice of youth" to people being interviewed, like a hip guy off the street. But nobody really expected the level of brilliant banter played as absolute ignorance and stupidity they got. Often they'd setup the interview with another guy seeming like the presenter, and Ali looking like part of the crew.. and then Ali would step in and start the interview at the last moment before they really knew what was going on This Naomi Wolf wooman came out of it really well.. some do, some don't.. and yeah she would make loads You are right in your woffle at the end. There doesn't need to be a perfect 50:50 ratio of male/female in most jobs as gender does seem to have an influence on personal preference of the types of work people want to do. They should just be ABLE to do any job, regardless of gender.. there should be no barriers.

I agree. Progressivism was doing fine before it was hijacked. It's too much, too fast, too impatient, too angry now, and it's driving a wedge into society. It's all about shouting people down rather than talking them over to your side. 😔

The worst thing is now it's always people being offended on behalf of someone else. I'm pretty sure a lot of feminists now would be offended but still laugh at it, same as the woman in this video.

Only 26 seconds into the video. Querido Brad: In order to do that stuff properly... Menos cerveza y más MARÍA . Big love from Spain. PS. Would you consider doing Cheech and Chong? Obviously wouldn't be first time reactions, but... Good education for younglings. Paz y amor.

Lucy I love you to bits but I must support Brad on this one, regarding the chores a couple do within the household. I agree, if the woman is better at DIY (traditionally a man's job) and a man is better at cooking or laundry (traditionally a woman's job), then so-be-it. In the 21st century, we should definitely not be following 19th century traditions.♥

I'm 52 and when I was growing up I can remember that things were kinda set up so that boys, in general, wanted to grow up to be a certain thing and girls were set up to want to be a certain thing. For example, I didn't know any girls who were given a meccano set in the 70s in my little part of the world, and I didn't know any boys who were given a nurses costume (we had pirate costumes or cowboy costumes). I'm not saying that's the reason for gendered choices, just saying if you grow up in a certain atmosphere of expectation all around you, some of it probably rubs off. Love the reactions as always guys - the Ali G stuff is funny to watch again after all these years, though at the time I found some of it cringy to watch - funny how time makes this stuff look fairly tame now.

In the old days a man working outside could more or less provide for the whole family, but he was tried enough to not do work at home. Nowadays both parties need to be working thanks to the economy and VERY underestimated affect of *consumerism* eating a lot of incomes. So imo it's fair for partners to just use common sense and share the work at home.. No rules needed just a pure friendship to the highest degree of "understanding"👍
