One of the wildest, finest, powered, sharpest, emotive, interpretations I've seen so far.

I don't understand when people compares her with other people or say that her beauty was the thing that made her famous... I definitely think she is both beautiful and talented!:) Just because a person is stunning doesn't mean their not talented.

Saw her tonight in concert in Bielefeld (Germany). She was fantastic, especially with her Liszt repertoire (and wore a green dress this time :-). She chose "La Campanella" as encore! For good reasons, as you can see here ... To me it appeared even more brilliant than in the video.

Such a wonderful performance of such a splendid performer on such a strange sounding piano!.. It seems it has plates instead of strigs!..
The thing I don't understand is why whenever a girl who happens to be beautiful plays the piano, people say that their beauty is the reason they are famous. Beauty and talent can occur within the same person people! I think Alice Sara Ott is a perfect example of both. :)

excellent....really sounds like bells........thanks
She of course has an incredible technic, what makes her a quite good Liszt interprete, at least much better than Beethoven or Chopin where there obviously is still a lot to do. I don't like Liszt much anyway, however what can I say is that the energy and passion is missing in this performance. She is worlds apart from Kissin. Also listen to her transcendental etudes, and then to Berezosvky playing those pieces, you will clearly hear the huge difference..
She is absolutely brilliant here and at the third movement of "Appassionata" . People who claim this is either boring or not lively enough for their taste are either trolls or complete idiots

I love her interpretation much more than that of Kissin. I could draw some mathematical perfect curves to go along the notes played by Alice. It's just perfect to me. While Kissin feels like he has some unsolved affairs with the piano and hits it until it screams. I will leave it as a "matter of taste", like wine vs vodka.

Some pianists play La Campanella with deep self-euphoria and bragging self-satisfaction, however, to the contrary, listeners come to be disappointed to see them.

she's more technical and modern, Yundi more poetic. depends on your taste. I prefer her interpretation as etude:)
