What I like the most about her is how much she enjoys doing music. I hardly ever see music artists so happy while singing and performing. Alicia Keys is so real and so loyal to herself, that everything she does is great. Her passion for music makes me love even more the music. I just love watching her dancing and playing her piano, smiling and saying "yeeeeah". Most singers don't feel so passionate about their work. Do I have to say I'm completely obssesed with her????

I kind of fell out of love with Alicia after her 2nd album. I'm glad that she's back behind the piano creating music from the soul and not the bubble gum r&b she was spitting out in her last 2 albums...
@andyc6542

I absolutely echo that sentiment; Songs In A Minor and The Diary of Alicia Keys were fantastic albums, but really didn't rate her work after that. 'Here' is a complete return to form in my opinion.

they told her take out the corn rows and start acting more like a "woman" and her music went downhill man fuck the industry glad to see her putting out this beautiful ass music out again im a guy but every street nigga fucked wit her first album shit had some real pain in it
@WenNRome
7 жыл бұрын
Y'all obviously didn't listen to her last 3 albums, nothing about it was bubble gum r&b. Alicia has created a different sound for each era, that's what music is about, evolving and experimenting because the same thing over and over is boring.
@andyc6542
7 жыл бұрын
R. Poe- Couldn't disagree more. After 'The Diary of Alicia Keys', her sound was more and more radio friendly, and seemed to be r&b designed by committee and from the boardroom instead of her expressing herself- sure, she'd always have a good few songs on those 'middle' albums, but this feels more like the personal Alicia Keys from the start of her career.
@WenNRome
7 жыл бұрын
Andy C I get what your saying but to act like the songs were trash and didn't have great value and lyrical content is silly. Some of the songs may have been more radio friendly but what's wrong with that, Alicia was in her 20s I hate when ppl act like she has to be this deep 60yr old woman with no fun or radio friendly music.
