Omg the Allison Krause.Yes I am a fan of yours since the beginning of your career. I first heard you when you won a Fiddling contest.Much respect for your natural talent. My mother and I sang in choir , at church. Family harmony is the best singing to us . No hiding behind the music there . My mother said goosebumps don’t lie, if you’re good. I am amazed by your ability to maintain perfect pitch. On heavens bright shore was my favorite back in the day. Nothing at all . Down to the river. All on my playlist. Plus many more. I hope you are touring soon near North Carolina. Nashville is close enough to hear an angel 😇 sing .❤ your music 🎶

Robert has been experimenting different styles and even making different versions of his own music with LZ ever since the 80 ‘s when he made his solo career. Even with Zeppelin he started to try different sounds in the melodies he created. I personally enjoyed his different styles and open mindedness when it comes to music and his collaboration with Alison was marvelous and it’s amazing how he’s still a Rock Star. He can do Vallenato or Merengue or whatever he feels like doing musically and he is still Robert Plant the Rock Legend. But this collaboration between Alison and Robert is a wonderful combination. Versatility makes a great artist even greater. It’s just for the love of great music.

Such a great match up. Totally different backgrounds and working so hard to be the best of each other's needs. Allison is my goddess, a beautiful lady inside and out. Have seen her many times and have been floored by her performance each time. Have never been able to See Robert and am very sorry for that. What a great performer, I have been listening to Led Zeppelin all my life. What a wonderful band, everyone is so talented. It's what good music is supposed to be. Good luck to the both of them.

I saw Robert with LZ in Dec. 69 in Toronto, after the release of LZ2 but before many of us had heard it. They opened with a phenomenal version of Whole Lotta Love…then after the show had finished with a rock n roll medley (at that time they were short on material) the stage was rushed by people down front. The energy was amazing..Great show and it’s nice to have that memory now at age 72.

Combination of voices is magic. I've had Robert Plant's voice in my ears for nearly 50 years now and Alison Krauss' voice has been at the top of my chart since the early 90's. I wasn't too sure I approved when I heard there was going to be a pairing of the two back before Raising Sand came out but that album was terrific. Raise the Roof is that much better. I'll be shocked if it doesn't bring home a few more Grammys.

Two masters of their craft. I grew up listening to old country like Hank Williams, Sr. but also with Johnny Rivers. As a teen I moved on to KISS. I could feel the emotion in Desmond Child's "Love on a Rooftop". I saw he had collaborated with several people including Paul Stanly of KISS. I found out Paul's favorite guitarist is Jimmy Page. Naturally this lead me to Led Zepplin, then Robert Plant and ultimately Alison Krauss & Robert plant together. I am thrilled with new music often. I have Paul Stanley's Soul Station and now more of the classic older songs by Krauss and Plant. Life needs a soundtrack!

They warmed up after the silly, negative political question put forth about half way through. Alison sidestepped it very well and Robert picked up the pieces afterwards. I’ve heard him say that numerous times now “it was over before then” and “it was really over after 77” in interviews about zeppelin. I’ve always agreed with that. I mean really after 75, but 77 was almost a reunion turned farewell tour. They had nothing to promote BUT they dropped a LP, live LP and a movie the previous two years so they were like super hero’s in 77.
