Same here, never ate much on a Friday at work wanted to make sure my GB trousers fitted perfectly, the anticipation of if you were going to pull at one of the clubs we used to go to. Hit the dance floor when one of your favourites came on Cuba Gibson brothers, your the one for me D train, the look of love ABC then hit the jazz funk room at at Tiffany's 😊

Sorry, regardless of gender/sex, they were utterly brilliant singers full stop. Not sure about Lisa Stansfield, but Alison Moyet was an amazing songwriter and performer. But yes, neither received the recognition they received. Along with Annie Lennox, they were absolutely amazing. And women also. Wonder why their talent was never acknowledged as such? She is incredible, before any of the other hit the stage, she was making incredible music and put her amazing voice to deliver those songs. This is such an amazing song, so heartwarming and yet could bring sadness depending on the circumstances. Alison Moyet Invisible this talented lady is so underrated. I’ve got several of her albums and listen to her regularly. She knows how to express herself through her music. What a great talent she is.

Really strong vocal as ever from Alison. Was her third solo single after Love Resurrection and All Cried Out,and just missed the top 20 but spent 9 weeks in the Top 40 around the Christmas and New Year period 1984-85.
