@GinoMachino I don't know if it comes up later but even though he doesn't have bleed infusion on the weapon, heavy attacks with bloodfiend's arm innately do a bleed build up and fire damage splash AOE. This is just not true. I tested a standard bloodfiend's arm against mohg lord of blood with his AI off, spamming charged R2 for four minutes straight. Not a single bleed proc. Its not possible for it to get a bleed proc right off the bat like that, especially when the main hit wasnt not bleed infused for Gino. The blood splatter is only a visual effect, and can only proc status if you have it infused with status or bloodflame blade etc. Overall, the charged R2 has a multiplier of 1,8 on the status effect if you hit with the weapon and the AOE, which is what lets the 180~ bleed buildup be so powerful with the bleed infusion.

If you think about the Holy / Flame Art thing, maybe FS originally wanted to initially make it like the Fire Kinght GS / Black Steel Twinblade / Greathammer where it gains extra damage with Sacred / Flame Art infusions and forgot to remove that aspect (probably after testing and realising how ridiculous the damage is). What’s weird is that it works for both - maybe they wanted to see which was better, decided against either, removed (or didn’t add) the item description that would tell us about this, and straight up forgot to remove the bit that increases the scaling damage. Surely modders would be able to show us this.

Its a bug on weapons with innate arcane scaling. this happens for bloodfiend's fork too, and it was there on the smithscript weapons before they were fixed.

Yeah definitely a bug, I was just curious if the bug was caused by the same scaling mechanism as the weapons that have descriptions like “Further flame imbuement will amplify the effect and greatly increase the armament's power.”

I think all the Smithscript weapons had the same effect of additional physical damage scaling with INT and Faith, it was a bug and patched before I got to try it. So I don't know if it's worth doing such a big run with a set-up that probably won't be around for too much longer.
