Well this was a Sunday treat Alexandra! As a tea lover since my mum put it in my baby’s bottle I was immediately intrigued by the red Yunnan tea and will be hunting for it later. The Palais de Thé sounds like it would be my very own heaven. The French titles of the Fortune and Vita Sackville-West are far more alluring than the English and I loved what you said about gaining wisdom from how we used to talk about other cultures. It was truly a different world in both good and bad ways. The university festival looks wonderful and, as always, the flowers are stunning, those Poppies look like tissue paper 😍. Thank you for this twenty minutes of beauty and culture!

Oh I'm so happy you enjoyed this, Jo ❤️ if you need the spelling for the Yunnan Red it's Diang Hong, I'm sure you would adore Le Palais des thés, and this one felt like a connaisseur tea (from an advent calendar of rare teas, I was saving it 😁). I agree for the French titles, they were more appealing and probably allowed me to "meet" some memoirs I would have skipped otherwise. Have a lovely Sunday evening and a beautiful week ahead 🌷

Your videos are such beautiful little works of art. The esthetics you display are simply wonderful and so comforting. Thank you for this brief respite from a world that often seems so noisy and confusing.
