Nice advice! How about the age? Is there any recommendation or regulation?

Fundamentally, age is just a number, and anyone can have a Muay Thai fight. In some smaller events in Thailand, you can even find veterans over 65 years old still stepping into the ring. Most people here grow up with Muay Thai, and once a fighter, always a fighter. 🇹🇭🤣 However, there is an unofficial rule of thumb. Thai fighters usually start competing at the age of 8-9 years, and most of those who pursue it as a professional sport retire around the age of 30-35. Even after they stop competing professionally, you might still see them in the ring, though not with much ambition. Foreigners typically start competing later and usually come to Thailand around the age of 20. If someone already has fighting experience and is in good physical condition, they can compete at a high level up to the age of 40. However, if someone wants to have their first full-contact fight, we recommend not doing so over the age of 35. The issue is that recovery is not as quick, and the lack of experience can pose an unnecessary health risk from our perspective.
