Hi Wesley , thank you for talking about my favourite plant . Please can I ask how would I know if my monstera is small or large form while it’s juvenile ? I now have four monsteras 😂 as I desperately want a large form . I thought I had just bought one as it has the ruffles but it seems I may have yet another small form. It does appear to be more bushy than climbing and the top leaves are a lot bigger than my other plants leaves . Thank you 🙏

You’re so welcome. That is a really tricky question to answer. They look the same as very young juvenile plants, it’s first with maturity that you’d be able to see the difference. Some things to look out for are the larger geniculum, thicker vines with shorter internodes quicker, larger leaves with more fenestrations. Basically you’d have to buy a mature vine to know for sure. Good luck hunting for the large form 🙂🪴

Hello, I just came across ur channel & subscribed. This video was so very Welcoming & needed for me. I purchased my Monstera Deliciosa Feb 15 2020 in a 6in pot ,repotted in March 2022 in a 8 in pot.We receive very bright light in our home & the Monstera has full view of the sky with bright indirect light. I have done everything u mentioned. Constantly giving new leaves & 3 just this month of Feb 2023. I use Repot Me mix only for Monstera & I add worm casting ( wonderful mix) I have fenestrations & a couple of sm. holes in 1 leaf but never a full leaf fenestration with holes. I've noticed the top of the stems curving but no ruffles. What do u think ? Will I ever get what I so desire? lol..Thank U

Thank you for your kind words. It sounds like you have a ‘Borsigiana’. Some never really get maturer leaves and some do. Some transform all of a sudden one year. It doesn’t always depend on doing everything perfect, it’s sometimes just that that particular specimen doesn’t have the genes to become more mature in an artificial, indoor home environment. I do hope yours suddenly wakes up and surprises you one day though. Patience is a virtue as they say 😄🪴🤞🏽
