Wow!!!!! Was looking for something this kinda stuff...I won't say I understood all, but this video explains it to a good extent. I have CASIO CTK 2400 keyboard. It has a simple push button with 'SAMPLING' written on it. I wasn't very sure what it actually meant...this video gave me a brief idea though not fully. Well. Hats off to your explanations and the way you present. Very laudable. Kind regards from Pune city, INDIA

Hi LNA, I'm a fresh Ableton user (not age wise, I'm 48) and a bit confused why non of the YT tutorials about Abletons Sampler (or Simpler) cover the most basic part: the actual sampling. I'd like to sample my home made drum sounds and use them as a Drum Rack. Thanks if you find time to do a video about this, or just a comment :-)

Great video as always, LNA! I don't have Suite, so I've never gotten to play with Sampler, but now I understand a lot more about what Sampler does (and why it's justified to charge so much more for Suite, haha!) btw - best call to subscribe I've seen in a YT video... like ever? haha 😄 brilliantly done, love it! what lovely harmonies! haha

I've been studied music production for a long time and i've only seen men here at YT. So wonderful to learn from you, thank you so much. I have a question: When I am recording my vocal in Ableton, sometimes the sound sounds overrides. Do you have rules for dB's when you're recording a lead vocal? i can't find any video where you talk about dB's.

Hi! Glad you like the videos! ❤️ it seems like you talk about Gain Staging. So that’s about desibels and gain when recording. It applies when recording, producing and mixing. I have video on it on my mixing course ☺️

LNA, can you change your KZitem setting so there aren't ads so often? I don't know if that's even possible. My adblocker doesn't eliminate them. But some of the ads are insufferable! 3 mins long??? What is "Magick Male"? Would you even want that on your channel?? Otherwise, I like what you're doing. :-)

Ah noo sorry can't control which adds are targeted for you :( I have adds on my channel, as each time people see them I get money. I put so much time towards free content for people, so unfortunately I need to pay my rent as well (otherwise would love to go add free) :/

Great tutorial. Are you as frustrated as I am with the fact that SAMPLER does NOT have warping capability? It's been years now and they haven't done it. I don't get it. It would completely round it out. I should not have to use simpler "simply" for the warping capability. I don't get it. Adding warp would be glorious.
@LNADoesAudioStuff
2 жыл бұрын
to be honest I have thought about this many times as well! But maybe it's because of Sample's multi-mode feature....
@martinbreeson9637
2 жыл бұрын
@@LNADoesAudioStuff not an excuse IMHO 😄 Warp just seems like a no brainer to me. Matching loop tempos,. creating certain types of synth sounds with sampler's additional capabilities etc.. Maybe they will just make one sampler instrument in 12. One can dream. Thank you for responding. Love your work!

OMG! It's THE MOST BORING and confusing part of them all so far... 😲I enjoyed previous 29 parts watched on one day, especially the mixing course, but this one killed me... 😲I don't get it, I see no point, no use for this "knowledge"... Didn't expect such a "situation" after watching so many good parts...

Wow what a pointlessly rude and mean comment. If you don’t like Sampler then just say that, don’t be rude to the person who tried to help teach it to you.
