Some of you have asked me to talk about the FN FAL rifle series again, but honestly there just hasn't been much of anything new to discuss. So with that in mind, here I show off my favorite FAL variant family and explain why.
We look at 4 preban rifles manufactured in Rosario, Argentina by F.M.A.P. during the 1980s. We discuss their military history, civilian import story, and talk about their features and why I like them so much. Also, we include a bit of footage from the range just for good measure, why not?
Featured FMAP FSL rifles include...
Standard Infantry Rifle 50.00 - 21" barrel, light bipod, standard tall sights, & fixed stock
Heavy SAW Rifle 50.41 - 21" heavy barrel, LMG bipod, standard tall sights, & fixed stock
Compact Paratrooper's Carbine 50.63 - 17" barrel, no carry handle, folding cocking handle, short fixed sights, folding stock
Short 'Congo' Type IV Carbine - 18" barrel, no prevision for bipod, short flip sights, & fixed stock
