First off, this was the best game by Aussie this year. There was intelligence in their play and grunt in the forwards. Joe Schmidt is starting to make his mark with limited stock. I really hope the trend continues. As for the ABs, the building blocks are all there and is starting to solidify into lethality. Tamaiti, Vai’i, Sititi in particular have added much to the overall pack effectiveness. I’d work on Darry, Bell, and Lakai as well. Ratima, Beaudy, ALB, Proctor, Ione, Clarke, Jordan. Damian off the bench with Hotham and Jordy. Obviously Sam T and Roigard are soon back, plus what do we do with Reuben Love?

The black mamba is fine. ABs need to have a look at a sport like basketball where they use the term, "role players" a lot. Some guys are role players. Could you imagine what Rassie would do with Havili!!! Yes he's not a big ABs 12 that eats up yards, but he is a swiss army knife that aids the idea of a 6-2 bench split. He is also a smart player with a sweet boot. He has not been on the park in a black jersey in a long time so his rust is understood. Havili is handy. So is DMac off the bench. In fact, sometimes, DMac could come on to run wild from FB. So there are options. Lakai and Sotutu are still out there too. Sititi does not equal -Sotutu. There is room in a 36 man group for both.

Well done, ABs! Stellar performance! DMac was better coming off the bench, but I think that he should be given the opportunity to have another ( full) crack at number 10, so that the ABs ( in the absence of Richie) have cover. Overall, it's a fantastic performance, and the 'chess pieces' do appear to be falling into place. Sittiti was a beast, and Will Jordan must rub oil ( or butter) on his body before a match! I do need, however, to ask this question: Why does Razor persist with Reiko Ioane over someone like Billy Proctor? Reiko is really good, but I do think that he still doesn't pass the ball at the right time, and Billy, well, I think he has the skill to really open up defences. Razor should at least consider him for Japan and give him a real go in the Northern Hemisphere matches

Great, but selection is still a thorny issue. Sititi, like Ardie, is such a good athlete that he'll look like a Emerging Player of the Year candidate anyway. So I'd say that Razor just needs to bite the bullet and give him a run at 8 and Ardie at 7. Look, Messam was a force and a very good athlete that was just unfortunate to play in the same era as the great Jerome Kaino. This is Sititi and he is, like Beauden did under Dan Carter, emerging while Ardie is still operating at full steam and that helps. Having the two as starters gives tge ABs that extra hard carrying loosie that they missed in the last cycle (Frizell only became Frizell in 2023). No one can tell me that Ardie would be totally outclassed by vd Flier, who I feel is the benchmark at openside, so this idea that an ABs 7 should be exclusively a workaholic tackling machine is a weak excuse as far as I'm concerned.

I swear Kiwis defend mediocre All Blacks and expect absolute perfection from the other stars on the team. Ioane should be a bench player or move back to Wing.

I tend to agree he would look good on the wing with Jordan at fullback. Let’s give Proctor a couple of starts on the Northern Tour.

There will always be that fan who, like a nervous dog, barks at anything including it's shadow and disregards whatever the team does. Any team in the top ten is good enough to beat any other team in the top 10 on their day. The margins defining those rankings are far from the reality that happens on each and every match day!

Yes, the Wallabies ranking is the lowest it’s been in the professional era but their upside is shockingly high when they play well. Let’s not forget they scraped out a win over the Pumas, who were good enough to put away both NZ and SA.

The moment at 08:45 when I declare myself an ‘All Blacks fan’ should provide your answer. 😂 I actually take your remark as a compliment. While I’m a die-hard NZ fan, there’s nothing worse than when a commentator is so biased that their judgment is clouded. If you felt I was fair to both sides, I appreciate that.

No shame losing to England, France or Ireland. All are top teams. Best time to be losing and learning is now. Am excited about the tests either way. Least ABs are facing the top tiers unlike the Boks

You played Australia, a tier 2 team at the moment that you can actually see is rebuilding. NZ is playing reaction rugby, so I'm not sure why you are happy about that. Scoring in the 60th was desperation and the same for winning at Wellington. When you face Ireland for example, that's the real test. Only good thing that came from Razor at the moment is sititi and cortez, other than that it was an average desperate performance. Nz will lose against Ireland and France, maybe against England as well. On your point about fear factor... To who? You making an assumption based off one game. No top team, including Argentina is afraid of NZ. I'll say it again, Robertson is out of his depth. He's not giving people opportunity because of that desperation to win, up north it's one shot only so no second game to adjust. I get it's your team, but please be realistic and look at the overall season which has been poor.

How long have Ireland England and France had in the saddle as a squad and systems this is only 2024 the beginning of the building cycle every Nation will evolve and look different in 25-26 and NZ will not be any different win or lose its the RWC is the destination

@@rodeo4-p6u England have a new defence system and their coach isn't in the saddle for a long time. How many of those players have played under Robertson in Super Rugby? They should be familiar with the structures. Here's my argument, all teams that are building, you can see that. I just don't see it with NZ

@@rodeo4-p6u Ratima, tosi, tamaiti, aumua, sititi these are the only players under 20 caps from the weekend... 3 of these you can probably say will play frequently. Sititi, Ratima and williams. The rest of the players are experienced... Like I said looking at other teams you can see where they are going, but not with NZ. You can sugar coat it all you want. Hell, when they asked him in the press conference if some of the questions were answered, he asked what were those questions. Either he really doesn't know (which means he's out of he's depth), or pretend as if there's no issue.

Congrads AB's comesirations Wallabies, what a game both teams were willing to play & it was entertaining for the crowd. AB's that's much better, me as a staunch AB's & avid loyal supporter could see the aura of the AB's as they came out from the changing sheds they look ready to LESSCH GO, the National anthem & the Haka. I really didn't care about the score seriously. I just wanted them to put out a good performance & they delivered. The AB's are back with lots of humble pie enjoy the win. Still have a bit more mahi to do before you boys head up to the Northern Hemisphere. AB's atm, from what I can see they have the makings of a very special extra ordinary team. They have excess amount of great depth with a wealth of talent coming through. Just imagine this 2027 world cup having Richie Morunga, Shannon Frizzell & possibly Aron Smith back, WOW?. Good luck AB's on your tour to the Northren Hemisphere, Leesch Go the AB's all day, every day.
