I feel this is the best this particular piano has sounded. I had to resort to headphones to block out the unwanted funkarama in the air. Literally different notes sound different each second, and they constantly are changing, being dampened, losing harmonic content, etc. I guess it is phase distortion, a common audio culprit. With my Sennheiser closed back headphones it was a bit easier, but not a piece of cake. But I am getting used to playing this instrument softly and with some control, and the reverb, Boss chorus, and Avion Retroflyer sound nice. Also there is a pretty relaxed blues feeling, something I have not been able to achieve in a long while. The work days ebb and flow as does the process and result. So every once in a while I just sit down, dial it in, and play to see how it is. I think this is the best SOUND thus far. Beater Rhodes to studio quality in only seven years! I was dragging on this one.
