Isn't the Durston X-Mid Pro almost identical to the Sierra Designs High Route 1P? Same architecture and internal nesting system with offset trekking poles. Of late, I am surprised to hear that SD seems to have now stopped manufacturing the High Route.

I am so glad I happened upon your channel. Ecxellent video.. Your approach to gear is very similar to what I have been contemplating. You are so right about AZ throwing different and challenging environmental and weather conditions. You've got Durston and Katabatic gear and a unique coffee set up (I too love great coffee!), I am subscribed and looking forward to following.

Would put your 1/8th pad under the tent will protect your tent floor and your sleeping pad too. Might have a different issue to deal with when it rains i.e. muddy 1/8th pad to deal with. Just a thought

Difficult to see the gear from that distance. You should intersperse the long shots with close-ups of the gear.

have you tested your gear in the snow? I've never packed as light as you are, but I also have never had such fancy gear 😁

what's your recharge strategy? will your power bank recharge enough to get you between town days? surprised you don't have a solar backup. I didn't see a compass and map in your kit, do you have a low tech nav backup?

I keep most radios off and draw relatively little power each day, so my banks hold up well. No paper but I have multiple offline maps on multiple devices.
