So glad you made this video. I feel like twin dads don’t get the same levels of appreciation as the mums do (sometimes). I’m a new twin mum and my husband was amazing and absolutely having 2 babies meant that he HAD to be involved and he’s loved being such an integral part of our girls lives. Twin parenting is such a team effort. Well done you two!

yes you're so right! I think twin Dads are a special breed of Dads, their role is so pivotal and they get the chance to be a primary caregiver as well when they're newborns which is so beautiful! Harry took 6 months off work and it was a life saver!!!!

Women need to quit accepting the bare minimum from men. Shouldn't take a twin pregnancy for a dad to help. Dads should always help with singleton births too. 50/50 parenting and household duties. Always. Sad part is its women who continue to keep that bar low for men and continue to put moms down constantly. Most moms work full time then they are a maid too at home with kids and a man child she married. Even stay at home moms need help when dads arent at work. Moms job never ends. Moms can never do anything right according to comments on videos. But a dad can feed their child one time and he's "father of the year"... "Best dad ever"..Start reading comments on all videos. Always women doing it. Quit praising men for cooking dinner once or dishes once or even changing child's diaper once. Praise them when they go beyond the bare minimum. Shouldn't get praise for doing what moms do every single day. Imagine a post or video thanking a mom for changing her child's diaper or cooking dinner or doing laundry... It doesn't happen. But a man can cook a quick crappy meal with no effort one time and he gets a huge post thanking him with tons of comments "you're so lucky".. "does he have a brother"..." Marry him".."Greatest man ever".."He's my hero".. Then a parade is thrown in his honor 😂.There's a single dad that post videos brushing his kids hair, cooking dinner, and doing laundry. All things moms do every single day. Yet he has thousands of followers congratulating him because "he's the best dad ever because he doesn't starve his child and bathes them..... He's literally praised for doing the bare minimum of what he should be doing anyways 😂 imagine a mom having a channel showing her only brushing her child's hair, feeding them, and changing diapers.... Doesn't exist. No one would care. Comments would be "that food isn't healthy".. " She showered while her child laid in a bouncer worst mom ever".."she's too rough brushing her child's hair"... "Why is the baby not wearing socks in that air conditioned house?" Stop praising men for having a job if they come home and do nothing. He doesn't deserve a post for making money. Takes more then money to provide for a family. Rem if he was single he would still be working so he isn't doing anything different. Its not providing unless actually caring and RAISING the kids too. *The bar for men is so low its a tavern in hades* -Ladies stop praising men for the bare minimum -Expect more because you deserve more -Why would some men try and go beyond the bare minimum when they are treated as gods for doing hardly anything -Ladies don't ever settle -You're not a maid -If you're married to a man child run fast Some men wonder why their wives leave after so many years..... *This is not to bash men. There are some amazing dads/men out there that definitely deserve all the praise in the world. Just next time you go to praise your husband or father of your child make sure its because he's going above and beyond and not just for the bare minimum. Praising him for doing dishes once this year will not make him do them more. Also if he's not going above and beyond he doesnt love you or respect you and he will never change.*

Also btw ladies this isn't directed at you. This is in general to what's in comments on all videos online from other women. Or the posts on Facebook's showing a big helping of mac n cheese someone's man cooked them one time that year and suddenly he deserves a massive post thinking him with hundreds of comments of praise. Tired of women bashing other moms and men getting praised for nothing. Ladies need to learn their worth. *This video was really sweet and I can tell he loves you so much and he is actually one of the good dads. Again my comment wasn't directed at you ladies

I did marry a man child narcissist. I was a maid at home and worked full time. I raised my child alone while her father worked 4pm then went to gym everyday and played softball and basketball. He never came home until after my child was in bed to avoid doing anything. Thank goodness I left after 11 years of marriage when my child was 4. Met my best friend and married him in 2018. He's the best dad ever for my child who is 13 now. Wish I could have done it all with him but I would go through it all again to have my child. My husband would move mountains to make me happy. He still has that sparkle in his eye when he looks at me. Nothing better than being married to someone you actually love and who loves you in return. Makes you want to offer them the world. I left for my child. She deserved to see a happy marriage. To learn how she should be treated when older. You're very lucky to have that and have a caring father for your children. Your boys will grow and learn respect and how to treat their future wife from watching you both. Your boys will also learn what they deserve and how they should be treated.

It seems like you both appreciate and respect one anothers new role in your relationship. I feel that that is ultimately important! When you have your partners respect it really makes you feel good about yourself and your relationship...which has a profound affect on your wellbeing and ultimately the wellbeing of your family as a whole. It's so refreshing to see, and thank you all for sharing your experiences. 💕 Best wishes for an outstanding future.

Have you done a couple Q&A ? Would love to know your story…how you met, first impression of each other, why you chose to live in Australia (we so want to visit there some day btw), did you do IVF? Do twins run in your family? If so, which side? Etc….I love this btw❤️ You’re an amazing twin dad…and mom😉 Much love from British Columbia 🇨🇦

Harry, you are still and will always be essential! I loved this - thank for the team Q&A. It gave me much perspective and a reminder to look at things from my husband’s POV; sometimes being in the grind and routine, I forget about how he must feel too. Hope for more of these! Wishing you and your family all the best

Americans would’ve had the panic attack for the astronomical hospital bill they knew they would be getting after being in the hospital for so long and especially having their kids in the NICU. It’s nice seeing parents from other countries not having to worry about these things and also pretty sad for us.

You are very fortunate to have Harry and vice versa! We can see in this interview that he loves you very much Katie! He really wants to protect you and provide for you and the twins. Twin parenting or parenting for that matter is always a team effort. Never hide anything from each other may the dialogue always be open and private between just you two. The world doesn't need to know everything. Those things are better kept between you both in bed privately. Protect each other as husband and wife. ❤🙏🏼

My mom had 3 daughters, 5, 3 and 4 months when my dad died in an accident caused by a drunk driver. Long story short, mom remarried and my stepdad adopted us. He was an immediate parent. They had 2 more children within 3 years. I was the oldest but didn't have any memory of my dad. 😢 My stepdad was great at being a parent.

I watched the video because of your comment and dont hear or see what you mean. He likes to be prepared, they literally told it. So he needs time to think about the answers and its his first time. He is answering and she ads details to the situation. She is a atrong verbal woman, is that what what you are interpreting as not allowing her husband to talk enough? If thats the case, you are trying to take care of her husband. Does he need it tough? Or is he just oke with a strong extraverted smart wife?!

I pray your roles stay Traditional as it is properly ordered. When you go out of these roles , things get disordered. Chaos insues. He must be the man , provider, hunter gatherer. It is what he is and how God has designed men. Seen it too many times when it is upside down - problems, resentment. He should be hands on and helpful when he can. Effeminent men usually errupt out of too masculine , too headstrong ( run over) women, who have a Jezebelian spirit. Refreshingly honest chat. You are really trying to balance yourselves well. That bit of exercise, does a world of good handling stresses.
