Found close to the edge of the Buckenham Marshes near the Strumpshaw Fen nature reserve within Norfolk. This is one of a number of level crossings on the Wherry Lines between Norwich, Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth to have been upgraded at the start of 2020, and fitted with Newgate Rising Arm Barriers, installed by Atkins. This level crossing has two long barriers covering the entire width of the road, and the E2S alarms are rather loud considering the nearby house and the level crossing's rural location, which is very peaceful, and rather reminiscent of the Surrey Hills, and the road sees very little traffic, since it doesn't lead to anywhere other than the Buckenham Marshes Nature Reserve. There are four E2S alarms in total at this level crossing. The train can be heard heading off towards Norwich making fairly rhythmic sounds on the track bed as it passes.
Thanks for watching!
