@morganring8385I thought it was Eli too. It sounds like a note Eli could/would hit. However, it very well could be Cesar. For the longest time, I thought Eli hit the super high note in Dream On until I watched him and realized that, when he sings high, he moves his hands and/or arms up and he doesn't do that in Dream On. I personally think it's Eli but I'll concede if I'm wrong and it turns out to be Cesar.

Mason: Layne has played violin since grade school. That particular violin, not so much. It’s a cheap one for looks, not for sound. You can see him play more on their Warriors video, but again, the electric violin he used was for video. He did the actual recordings on his own personal instrument. You can see him playing that in some videos he made with his family on his personal channel. Or even better - see if you can find his video One Dance! Mortius: Maybe next time you’ll pay more attention to your comments. Sometimes they’re for your own protection!

With all the energy you put into your reactions, the least I can do is put in a little effort and watch all the way to the end! I think this cover may actually be their best one to date. The long intro, singing all of the instruments that Metallica used to set the mood; the varied and nuanced vocal leads; the superb arrangement; the bass and percussion and the freaking vioLayne; and then the crowning touch: Eli let the rock god out. And...and...how can Cesar go from that breathy fragility to that perfectly controlled scream just before the violin toss? Amazing variety throughout, and yet it the whole is coherent, ending with that seamless transition that you talked about. Crazy good original song , masterful arrangement, flawless interpretation.
