I was interested in the dog box and am glad to hear it's just a simple milk crate with some foam. Thanks for sharing this.

Fantastic video. Thanks for sharing. I have a blue heeler that runs with me on short rides. I have been wanting to try a crate with her and I really like your setup. How old is Hazel and how much does she weigh? What would you say is a typical routine for her to sit in crate vs run with you? Do you keep her leash short enough that should would not want to jump out of the crate, or long enough to reach the ground if she does jump out? Best of luck and thank you for sharing again.

Hey hey! Hazel is 8 months and prob 24lbs or so. Running vs crate just depends. Hard to say. Since she's still a baby we don't let her run super long distances. Maybe 2 miles on easy terrain. Obviously she's always in the crate when we're on the road. For the leash it's tight enough that she doesn't want to jump out. She jumped out once and never tried it again 🤣

@@codyandvictoria thanks so much. Our dog Grape is a year and a half. She is 41lbs. I’m going to try this out in a local park and see how it goes. We have been trying to figure out how to take her with us. Thanks again.

So many clever adjustments y’all made to the bike!!! Thanks for the tips. I know you must of been frustrated leaving the drone controller behind, but I didn’t even notice because the storytelling came out great per usual.

Cody can you please tell me is it post-production trick or what?) Why camera is moving even when you both in shot? Is it imitation of live movement or what? It gives whole video a "life", just curious what is it, like handheld imitation. Thank you in advance

Fantastic gear review. My wife Katie is the same size as Victoria and we've struggled finding a bike that she really feels good about. We are going to check out that Marin. This video further highlights how one can go deep into the pocketbook for any hobby. I sure do appreciate the two of you putting these videos together. I know how much work is involved. All those racks and Bags!!!

Yo playas, subbed to you guys like 2 weeks ago and y’all have convinced me to go all in on videography. Bought the 6600 and the 18-105 (and obviously your killer LUTs). I purchased a tutorial on the camera from someone else, but it is mainly geared towards photography and doesn’t hit like yalls vids do, so if you ever decide to make an “in the field class” I’ll def buy it. I have a question though. You’re locked on 24fps and a low iso right? So all I should adjust is aperture and the ND filter? Also what is the ND filter I should get (price isn’t a huge deal if I can get just one and roll with it forever.) And thanks for yalls treasure trove of videos!

Sometimes we use high iso if we have to. So change aperture, iso, and ND to get what you need. We use the polar pro variable ND for everything. Preciate the support!

It really depends on the trail that you're riding. Are you riding into towns? Going to campgrounds where there is potable water? Or maybe you're riding along creeks and streams and lakes the whole time. Either way, we always carry a water filter with us just in case☺️ -V

I have a hard time supporting backcountry.com after their lawsuits against so many small businesses that use the universal outdoor term "backcountry", and just being a bully to the outdoors industry. I get it, business is business, but they went after companies that literally produce lifesaving equipment for use in the backcountry. Bikepacking on the other hand is fricken awesome, and you'll have lots of fun adventures doing it!
