The sad part is, as someone who has been to the school shown at 27:56, yes, they absolutely give zero F's about the student body, it's all about the football. They FINALLY tore down the two giant dorms that were frightening to live in and transferred everyone to overpriced apartments nearby. They put up a new building every 10 years that's super fancy to try and entice people into coming there and then leave the other buildings to rot. That entire school is r/MildlyInfuriating

The high school I went to has cooking classes in the cafeteria. And the farthest buildings are the two academic buildings and the science wing, are the farthest buildings from the cafeteria. Hell, even the rotc building is literally where the busses are. So imagine having to walk up a flight of stairs, walk put of the building, and walk down more stairs to go from science to rotc.

At 10:44 the original purpose for the pom poms at the top of the hats was to guard peoples heads from banging on the rafters of the ships they were on. Also alot had a certain design specific to each family to help with identifying the person if they were lost during certain conditions. The knitted sweaters were the main way to identify a person as that was harder to be removed.

I’m a born and raised citizen of the United States and my paternal ancestry is Scottish. I’ve never heard of a Scottish Bar. What you British call a pub is what we here in the US call a bar. This is the first time I’ve ever heard of a bar in Scotland. We do have pubs here, but my experience with them is they are more along the lines of being British restaurants. I don’t know, maybe they just got confused and thought it was an American establishment. I imagine the pubs in the US have one or two patrons who have tipped with British currency.

1:04:11 this is (badly) tempered glass. Tempered glass is heated in an oven, normally at 600°+ degrees, then ventilated to normal temp. This makes the glass 5x more resistant. There's also a test to tempered glass known as heat sock test. This test consists of oscillating temperatures, very high temps and very low temps to see if the consistency of the glass itself is under the norm. It seems to me that this particular glass was well tempered (as seen by the shards per square cm) but the glass itself contained nickel (usually found in recycled glass). Nickel sulfide to be exact. As it contains nickel sulfide, oscillating temperatures made it react and shatter the glass. That's why tempered glass needs to be properly tested. Tldr: this tempered glass contained nickel sulfide which reacts to temperature changes and makes it shatter. It's the glass supplier's fault, not the company that tempered it

I am already running a bit late, but no big deal, as long as I hurry I could make it. So I get to the lot, and...."Sorry we don't have room for SUV'S." "I booked this ten hours ago!" "Okay but we ran out of room!" Don't worry, I still made it and I did still need to pay 30 dollars for a spot in another place but I also had to walk double the distance there, but I also got a refund from the first place so all turned out well.

You can even see that the bottom fl is connected at the top.

cat 5e and cat 6 are still normal to buy and use today. cat 7 and cat 8 are only used in special cases. $70 for a 100 foot cable is insanely overpriced for cat 5e, should be 1000 feet for that price. brick and mortar stores are just insanely overpriced in an effort to stay in business with huge expenses, trying to make all the money they can while they still can.
