@Sean Willmond...I had my PBA card for 2 years. I am friends with most of the bowlers that are over 35 and have practiced, bowled league and tourneys all over the country with most of them. And yes, they average in between 235 & 250 in league on the typical house shot. If you read my comment carefully i said what they average in league, not on tour. I know what the average tour numbers are, depending on the pattern. For example: last weeks US Open had the highest numbers EVER for the US Open. Match play alone average was 240+. These guys are machines, very rarely miss. Regular guys watch the shows and think “Hey, I could bowl with them”...no, you can’t...I tried and I’m a good league bowler. Just to get to the final 4 you bowl about 25-30 games, switching pair every game with no practice shots. On tv those lanes change so fast from the balls used, the heat from the lights....then throw nerves on top of that...lol...it’s awesome to see what they do. Enter a PBA national event, not a regional event...you won’t average over 130....I’d bet anything on it...and I don’t even know who you are. Those guys are very, very, very good.

@@seanwillmond700 they would average 250-260 on a house shot. PBA games are played on sport shots, with the most forgiving being the legends oil patterns (eg Don Carter, Mark Roth patterns) but they are still have ratios around 3-4 and is by no means your average house shot
