I’m happy to provide the 24th “like” to this video. I think you’ve convinced me that the slightly higher price will be worth it on my future trip to Bali!

Hamad airport is extraordinary. Vast, full of "strange" objects (I made it a mission to find the bronze bear). I've only visited Al Mourjan Business Lounge which was terrific - probably the best business lounge I've experienced (even nicer than Emirates Business lounge in Dubai). The food/drinks were top notch and staff wonderful. I'd love to experience Al Safwa. Great report - informative, excellent filming and nice humour. Danke schoen!

Thank you very much! Make sure to check out my reports about the Al Safwa First Class Lounge in Doha and about ALL the Emirates Business Class Lounges in Dubai (that one is in my Playlist on Emirates)

😂 I know. I'm safe with that. Never understood the hype of having exactly the same bag as at least 1 person in every bigger street in the world. The opposite of being an individual being.... 🙈

Excellent review as always Chris, thanks for showing us all the lounges at DOH. You know, I have yet to visit Doha airport, or fly on QR. Hopefully soon !

That's a good plan, John! Maybe you can do it on miles? In that case, don't wait too long, so you fly there before there's another devaluation of several award programs

Thanks Chris-great video. Heading through in January after a four year gap and so really helpful to see the Garden Lounge. Might just get temepted back to Al Safwa....!

Thank you, dear Charles. Wishing you a great trip. Well, Al Safwa is of course a level up. The setting of the Garden Lounge is extremely beautiful - but I wouldn't NOT go to the regular Al Mourjan anymore. They have nicer showers.....

Easy choice when choosing between the airport waiting areas or the al maha lounge. I always choose the qatar airports wide open spaces with my money better spent in the departure terminal.

I totally get that. You get much nicer things for that money by just walking around, as you say

I've only transferred through Doha once, just after the World Cup. I was on a business saver ticket, so couldn't get into the al Mourjan, unfortunately. I had to make do with the Oryx, which was OK, but not great to sleep in, and a bit crowded at times. I'll be back in three weeks, for a shorter layover. I wonder what I'll be able to get into ... Thanks as always for an amusing and informative video.

Hi Jim! You should really try the lounge - at least if you have a couple of hours in Doha. Maybe this time you have a ticket that includes it. It's actually half the fun

Do you have to pay the extra 30€ if you want to go in the Al Maha lounge with the Standard Priority pass ?
@TravelSingFlyEnglishEdition

No, that's without any pass

Thanks for the really nice informative video! If I have a first class ticket, can i access both Al Safwa and Al Mourjan Garden lounges in the same day? Keep up the great work! 🎉

Yes, you can access all lounges in Doha with your first class ticket. Just bear in mind that the garden lounge is in the other part of the airport - which is not a problem though, just a 15-minute walk or a ride with the intra-terminal train. Have a great trip!

Thanks for the great review! 1 question, in the Al Maha lounge do you have to pay extra to access the showers? Or it’s included in the fee for being in the lounge?
@TravelSingFlyEnglishEdition

Oh that's a good question... To be honest, I have no idea. I would suppose it's included
