I view nostalgia as a bit of a "comfort zone." A place we all go to when we are discontent with our current life. The interesting part, however, is that nostalgia makes the past more glorious than it actually was. The past, present and future are all filled with hardships. But what makes the past unique are the little things that helped us get through the tough times. The songs we used to listen to. The shows and movies we used to watch. The memories we had in school. That grocery store we used to go to but is no longer there because it got demolished and replaced by another business and every time we past by the place I say, "man do you remember there used to be a Kmart here? Those were some good times!" Even the transition from summer to fall where the sky turns grey and the leaves turn brown usually puts me in a nostalgic mood. Anyways, I'm rambling. It's just the part in the video where Lana mentioned nostalgia got me excited.

Very insightful quote. I think on a spiritual level, everyone knows we are all connected and that is unconditional love. On a physical level, with all of the nonsense of ego and the lean towards materialism and shallowness, it's easy for us as physical individuals not to like those parts of eachother since it demonstrates our disconnection.

Hi Lana 👋, I find it interesting that the reality of how finite life is can feel so far away until we realize it’s a lot closer as we grow older. What’s even more interesting is that upon coming to this realization, I’ve also learned to embrace the reality that life rarely happens according to plan. Even though I may feel puzzled about where life has decided to take me now, maybe one day I’ll eventually understand and be grateful for it in the future. Sending you lots of love!!! ❤️❤️❤️🤗

You can't plan life out, as life is what happens when you plan something else, though what you can do is improve your ability to maneuver within it... Start with the basics, you mentioned memory...that's one of the most important things most people overlook on improving about themselves...many ways to do it, one of the best is to say something out loud, or in silence, and "make a mental note" of it , then add something else to this linear rope in your mind...go to about 5 items, then head back to the first thing, while saying each thing you came up with along the way....Then go back to the end, saying everything in order, and add one more thing... Keep doing this, forward and backwards, until you lose track, or get tired...the best time is right before bed, write down what all the things you kept track of in order are, go to sleep, and wake up to take a quiz on how well you remembered everything... Do this every day for a month, or keep it as a constant routine, and you will begin to notice your ability to recall things, correctly, in chronological order has improved substantially... The rest is learning things that will benefit you in life, e.g. : learning new languages, understanding the basics of how to repair a vehicle, how to grow your own food, create your own electricity, essentially start to look at the world as something that you have bail out of to eventually rely solely on your own abilities and natural resources...learn to live independently...that doesn't mean you can't interact with the world...though when you can supply your own electricity, food, and water...you will find that everything else becomes that much easier... Though it's not easy to do these things, consider them your life long goals...as this world is not what it represents itself to be, and depending on it is a sure fire way to be let down by it...basically learn to live through the bust times in the economy, and you will flourish through boom times...each manufactured, so be cautious of taking on debt when times are good, that's like playing musical chairs...the losses are written into the system... Have a great weekend, -ER x

I think you prove that final quote in the video wrong. The wind might take us unexpectedly sometimes, but if you aim for a place to go with purpose and the proper standards, you'll end up where you want to be despite the direction of the wind. You are proof of that. So really, we have the final say on our own direction.

Hi! Can You help me? I'm from Eastern Europe so my English isn't perfect but I need your help. I'm 15 years old and I got into a relationship online. Our friendship developed very quickly, he cares about me very much, he writes that I mean a lot to him, he cares about me and is an ideal when it comes to character and treatment. There are literally no red flags. However, I don't love him and I'm not physically attracted to him. I write that I love him too because I don't want to hurt his feelings. I have never been in a relationship, but I miss the boy who was my only and first unfulfilled love. I can't love my current one but I don't want to hurt him because I know how much he cares. What would you do in my situation?
@Prettysoul.7
9 ай бұрын
Hello 🤍 If you want my advice I'll tell you to try not to fall in love at this age. My dear believe me “the right person will come at the right time”. But in the current situation tell the boy the truth, don't give him false hope even if it will hurt him a little , but if you pretend that you love him and he knows, he will be hurt more.

Still, the problem is, that your video optimization section area is not perfectly up to date and SEO scores are very low. That's why your video does not reach out to the people. Hello Lana, I really love your videos, but I hope you won't mind if I offer you some constructive criticism. I'm hesitant, of course. I don't want to offend you or nitpick. Please understand I'm offering my opinion only because I think you're a great creator, you could have a really long and wonderful career ahead of you, and perhaps this could be something that limits you. To my native American-English ear, your enunciation is sometimes a little non-standard, as if you're nasalizing lots of vowels that we don't normally nasalize in English. Your enunciation sometimes sounds a bit slurred, and you might not want it to sound that way. Perhaps this is a holdover from your native Swedish? I see something called "Viby-i" in Swedish that might explain it. You can hear it in the first few words of the video, "I started asking questions...", there's lots of nasalization. Perhaps compare to the same phrase pronounced by a native English speaker. I don't think it'd take more than a few months of dedicated practice to eliminate, and then you'll basically sound like the All-American Girl-Next-Door with a very slight exotic accent. Good luck to you, and I hope you'll take my opinion for what it is: one anon's advice offered with the best of intentions...
