god, I love my neighbored! slight correction: the street you were on was University (Washington runs parallel to university but another block north) and down on the west side of University (by Mo's) is where 5th ave is. if you go south down 5th you'll go by #1 On 5th, as you showed, and also The Rail, but continue further south toward Downtown there's The Loft and SRO club. Incidentally, if you go east on University into North Park there's still more places to hang out. Pecs is on University and Alabama and in recent years has become the hangout spot for everyone from twinks to bears to leather daddies to our lesbian sisters to our elder gays. it's imho the most diverse gay bar in San Diego. thanks for the video 😃 I enjoyed looking at my hood from an outside perspective

Isn't the name of that bar pronounced: Alibi. Example: "Where were you on the night of the murder? What's your alibi?"

Wow, all of the bars here, with the exception of the Rail, are all completely new to me!! Now, mind you, when I was doing my partying in San Diego, back in the late 70's and 80's, the go-to bars down there, and in other areas of San Diego were "The Flame" (Hillcrest), "Diablo's" (El Cajon), "The Club" (@Laurel & Kettner), "The Apartment", "The Box Office" and a couple of others. I was in the USMC at that time and stationed at Camp Pendleton. Back then, one could hit all of the women's bars and never have time to visit all of them before closing time, on a Saturday night. San Diego was such a wonderful partying town and we sure had a grand time, during that time in my life.
