Oh, for me (we play metal) muddy was the same as muffled! Btw, as always, nice video and very very nice playing! 🙌

I'd like to see a part 2. My terminology on guitar sound runs to 'good' or 'bad' + clean, crunchy or overdriven. That's it! 🙂

"The upper mid-range sounds clonky, that is just enough dark to sound woody!" - Kris Barocsi, explaining guitar tone terms xD But yeah, you also nail this whole tone thing here! Great work, as always, Kris! Keep it up! :) (And yeah, still the only gear channel I follow, except Ola, who is obviously not a pure gear channel. Because you're always doing it so damn well!) ;) Edit: definitely make a part 2! :)
Yes! I think flabby is the opposite of tight. And IMO muffled is cutting treble post distortion. That sample was "crunchy" to my ears - lots of bass in distortion but it was bright. Kris, more suggestions for part 2: "ringing", "chime" 😅

You did it for most, but still missed the tone that was not "x" on some.. I wish you did it for all. Like tight. Which fwiw, I don't think you explained 100%. It refers to the bottom end, and would be the opposite of a lose or flubby bottom end. Yes, pal muting can expose a lose or flubby bottom end, but it isn't all of it.
