Jessica, Here’s an idea. Plant a tree for each one of the children. No matter if it’s Maple trees or fruit trees. Even let the kids help some on each of “their little trees”. In years to come, they will have wonderful memories of watching theirs special trees grow. ❤

You need a brush cutter. It's like a weed eater, but has a blade instead of string. It will cut right through those weeds.

New trees need consistent watering. Hint set up a watering schedule, water deeply and slowly for good results especially in your climate.

Cracking myself up at your Rooster...God Creation. Happy Monday Jessica, family, and feathered friends. Jessica, have you always been a gardener? Yes, your Fall, Winter, and Spring will be busy with all the activities. I understand completely. I am surprised your other gardener Ragan is not out there. JESSICA, Have you and Nathan thought about putting landscaping rocks where there is a lot of mud/water in your yard. In our front yard on the side of the deck, it is like on a slant, there were fire bushes planted there however we had those taken out and my husband ordered landscaping rocks to keep the land from moving and rain from running into our garage. Will be cheaper than french drains, Just a thought. STTB🍂🍂🍂🍂🍂🍂🍂

Rocks would be nice! Maybe one day. We have this area that we are talking about digging out more and making it more like a creek with a bridge.

Is that Archery Class at the Middleburg Baptist Church at 218 and Blanding! If that’s the one, you are right by our house. Seriously, I’m wanting to attend the Ladies Bible Study Classes if my health provides. We are on the same side of as the church on 218 and just up the road in one of those neighborhoods. Anyway, I often wonder if I’ll run into you somewhere. I don’t get out much, but on occasion I need to. Everything is looking so nicely. I’m so tickled for you

Weed eaters don’t cut stringy type weeds down very easily. Because the lines are not strong enough sadly. I’ve had more trouble trying to cut down paspalum in our yard here in Queensland Australia I’ve given up weed eaters to do it by hand with secateurs instead. Good luck with your very large ambitious garden. Should be fabulous eventually. Best wishes from Australia 🇦🇺 ps our climate is very similar to yours I sympathise.

Jessica, after seeing you plant the pumpkins in the boxes next to the arch, I thought it may be better to put one of the established plants either side so that you’ll hopefully have two of them the same size and then put the seeds as back ups around each, as the seeds will take a few weeks to germinate. I’m a little OCD so the symmetry being off would bug me. 😅😊
@FieldsFullHouse

Oh yes that would of made sense! lol I’m not a symmetrical person. I typical do things asymmetrical 😂😜
