Top tip: air out your sleeping bags, tents, tarps etc for a few days when you get back from camping so they're fully dry! And store your sleeping bags loose if you have the space, even in a bin bag under your bed works great. Excited to see more camping content from yourself, will be interesting looking at it through the lens of the edc world!

The bag is the Alpaka Go Sling Pro limited edition in black X-PAC VX21. Exclusive to NA it seems. According to their website it retails for $109. The regular version has a Faux Wool exterior as opposed to the X-PAC and costs $99 retail on their website. Both versions are sold out (and might be discontinued, although I am not sure on that one). I really like Alpakas products, you got yourself a nice bag there!

The Leatherman Juice S2 is my favorite Leatherman. I feel extremely lucky to have received one of the older all silver versions for Xmas not long before they changed and eventually discontinued them. I carry it every day and use it all the time! It’s the perfect edc multitool imo. You’re a lucky dude for picking one up! Enjoy it! 😊

Some really intriguing gear selections 👍. If that Warlander handle is digging in you can always put it on a dangler, or you can carry in Mors Kochanski’s preferred style and hang it handle up as a neck knife. Once you get used to neck carry it is very convenient for bushcraft or camp tasks. That knife looks very capable for woods work.

Sorry, Taylor.... Was just really excited about the Juice. It's a great tool, and I've carried it for years, and been disappointed that they discontinued it. I can't find anything that comes close to replacing it. And as you noted - they've brought back 2 of them - the CS4 and the XE6 - for a limited time. The CS4 is most similar to the S2, but adds a saw, an awl, and a corkscrew. The XE6 is beefier still - and adds a file and serated blade.

Off topic but ate those redwing iron ranger that your wearing? So does the extra hardening on the MD knife make it more susceptible to shattering while batoning? Seems like the typical brittleness tradeoff would be worse for bushcraft but I don't know much.
