Rachana Ji - We always expect the best from you being retail investor centric. Small cases have a lot of drawbacks which nobody talks about - 1. The returns shown on small cases are only for illustration purposes as these funds were never started 5 years ago. This is a new service & has shown past performance to highlight it's selling. 2. Small case charge on every rebalancing of stocks in a portfolio that is quarterly or half yearly. 3. Multiple selling orders quickly leads to high STCG tax. 4. We can surely go with Index funds or Direct MF with as low as Rs 500 rather than Rs 5000 or more. (They have very less expense ratio) 5. Actual CAGR of these Small Cases is very poor which are written in the factsheet of these small cases in very small words. The actual performance of these small cases is similar/less than Index. If you feel I'm wrong feel free to correct me.

@@CARachanaRanade Thanks for your reply, however Mutual Funds & ETF will always win the race in comparison to small cases for retail investors. As there are subscription charges, STCG, multiple brokerages on buy/sell in small cases VS a negligible expense ratio in Index funds.

@@johnjoseph2811 bro stop making comments that are misleading. You need to subscribe to know the list of stocks or the Advisory firms are giving you their research for free. And you need to follow rebalances thats the smallcase feature. Wdym burning pockets? When you criticise someone or something always have proof or it sounds like an accusation that does not look good.

Hey Rachna Mam, Loved your video :) There is one problem though that I have faced with frequent rebalancing, I had a smallcase with a weekly rebalancing, and every time I rebalanced (majorly consisted of selling stocks) I incurred losses. Over the period of 3 months and 12 rebalances I have lost almost ₹4000 (just by rebalancing) while the profit & loss interest % from the smallcase itself were a completely different case. I feel nobody acknowledges this issue, and I was constantly in a state of FOMO when I used to ignore the rebalancing notification. I have exited an excellent smallcase just because of these frequent rebalance losses. Could you please address this issue?

Thank you Rachna mam for these extremely informative videos delivered so very simply (which is a difficult task in itself). Im just beginning to research on small case and have found your videos extremely helpful. The fact that you come across as a very pleasant speaker helps a lot. Would you have any recommendation from your paid courses for someone who would like to understand personal finance management and growth?

Well explained CAR, as usual. A lot of cobwebs were cleared. Have yet to start investing. I am retired and still in the learning process, before i take the plunge. Keep them coming. God bless you.

Many smallcases have etfs instead of stocks. Would it be a better investment for long term to invest in such smallcase or we should go with smallcases which contain company stocks.

What if we want to do SIP in small case, what are the taxes involved, how these taxes are calculated over a long run? Do we have any ELSS kind of scheme here in small case?

All taxes are same as you put amount at once actually. For more details it's better to check the site and faq provided by your partner with whom you have opened an account.
