you know what? as great as Iverson was I think 96 was the right year for him to leave Georgetown. if he would have waited to 97 he would not have been the 1st pick. Tim Duncan was going to picked 1 no matter what. and most likely he would have ended up second to Duncan in the rookie of the year race. maybe 98 would have been a good year but like he said he couldn't wait that long because of his family. 98 would have been a crazy race between him and Vince carter for rookie of the year.
