This cameraman reminds me of every kid ever recording a school fight. Other than that the playing is phenomenal and that triple E is just insane.

Complain about the camera-work all you want, but I'm grateful that one of my students sent me this link (several of my students worked on this piece in early 2024). Chuck M's music is classic now and this performance is exemplary! Been a fan of Al Vizzutti since I heard him on Chick C's "Music Magic" album while I was still growing up in NYC. Got to meet Al at VCU and learn from him about his approach to practice (that he learned from Raphael Mendez). No motion sickness for me, just love and admiration for a masterful trumpet/flugelhorn player and these Rebel Alliance Jazz Ensemble players!

Nice long phrases, Allen! -- something that my eyes were first opened to by Sonny Rollins. This piece would have been truly epic with solos everywhere - 12 minutes long I say! - you've got the talent and the composition almost demands it. Beautiful sax section blending. Thanks to all, including the recording experts!

100% agree. I'm sure Mr. Vizzutti is too polite to say anything, but I know I'd be annoyed having a camera shoved in face from a different angle every 5 seconds. I stopped watching and just listened after about 30 seconds lol.
