We had a 190 picker on a D17 just like that. Replace the mounted one on the WC. Replaced picking with C II combine. Good ole days.

The tractor is a 1963 D17 series III. The corn picker is a 190 not to be confused with the One-Ninety tractor. A-C made three over the axle corn pickers, the 150 which would mount on a D-14 or D15, the 170 which would mount on a D-17 and a 190 which could be mounted on a WD, WD45, D-17 or D-19 tractor. A-C never built a picker that could be mounted on a One-Ninety and I have yet to see a New Idea or any other brand mounted on one either, although I would love to see it if it was done.

@walkenshaw2000 I wouldnt call it hard work but there is a decent amount of work involved it mounting the picker as well as taking it off. Send me a message if you are interested in more information.

@MYTFarms Actually were about a two hour drive north of there yet. I bought an A-C elevator from a guy near Sherrill last year.

We had one of those on a WD. Then we went to the Gleaner method. Don't see a lot of mounted pickers anymore. Thanks for the memories.

Are you sure that is a 190? I have never seen a corn picker on a 190 or 190xt. Looks like a d-17 or maybe a d19 to me.

festus51, The cornpicker is a model 190 unlike the One-Ninety tractor series. It is mounted on a series III D-17 tractor, the 190 could me mounted on the WD, WD45, D-17 or D-19 tractors if you have the correct brackets. This was the last picker to be built by A-C. The previous over the axle models were the 150 and 170 pickers.

That's the model number of the picker not the tractor series.
