I've heard some stories, about the 'youngin' coming up. and how they'lld send him to Dickey at all to show 'em long before, to teach 'em a few licks....how do you get that sound. they told 'em no boy you , you're doing it wrong. put lighter strings on that boy. come away w/ that sound. to hear them in 21st century, whatta rare gem. sure enuff them youngins got schooled by the masters themselves. i woulda loved to see them.

Dickie Betsy's son is on Instagram and he and I speak once in a blue moon I asked him who collaborated in writing this song and he said his dad did okay . Cross my heart and hope to die!

This guy was so underrated what a player and songwriter he wrote some unbelievable melodies he was every bit Duane’s equal for me and I say that notwithstanding Duane is a hero for me. God bless Dicky.

Dickey was like, wow, Warren ripped it, I'm gonna have to shred to keep up and he sure did. Even Greg looked mesmerized when he looked over and was watching Dickey.

a lot might disagree with me but in my own mind this guy single handed saved this band in 1973 after eat a peach came out that was it they were going to go their own ways then this guy dicky had a ACE up his sleeve and that was Ramblin man and the rest we know i was 18 in 1973 and i became a fan after that even greg used the term ACE up his sleeve

Thank you for this song. We used to sit in the living room while the kids were in school. He'd practice his songs with whole neighborhood helping out. He'd say "I want to sing with Lynne only." And we would do this number. God rest your soul Gregory. You're with God & Janey now. I'll join you one day soon.

They are like the best band in the whole world other than The Rolling Stones. Period.
