It could be some stray RF getting into it. Try some ferrites on the power cable of the Pi and maybe the cable between the Pi and the Sound Card. Also check all your settings. Is this a simplex Node or is it a remote Node for a repeater?

I'm having a similar problem. I downloaded and installed AllStarLink3 -arm63-3.0.11 and went through the setup following Freddie Mack's video. I can't get the echo back functions to work and when I look at the Allmon3 dashboard it shows transmitting and I hear nothing but static on the HT. During the few brief periods of not transmitting I could monitor other nodes so I'm pretty sure it will work IF I can stop the transmit. I have some ferrite beads I will try.

@@w8cptCptDon Rats. Mine is the latest firmware and has all the updates as of now.. It used to work with the HamVOIP and Asterisk 1.4 but we moved and it sat for a couple years before I tried getting it going again, it didn't work so I updated the firmware. I'll keep after it. Thanks Greg -N4RAI

@gomez9389 Good luck! I've build a few allstar nodes but I'm not a pro by far! I actually made this post to show in a bug report on the allstar3 github...
