Listening to Tony talking about the record store really hits home. My buddy and I would spend HOURS just inside a record store.

40'th anniversary of SATD. I was four years old when it came out and wouldn't discover Motley Crue until 1991. I can't help but envy those who went to record stores in 1983 to buy the SATD album. My best friend got into No Rest For The Wicked when it came out, we were both in fourth grade. Anyhow SATD is one of the greatest albums ever made.

Listening to the guys talk about getting autographs makes me think of my favorite one I ever got. It was around 2000 and I was managing at a long John Silver's and going to college. So I was broke and living at home, I come home from class to get ready for work and my dad hands me a manilla envelope. I was worried because nothing good ever comes from that in my mind, but I open it and the first thing I pull out is a promo pic of KISS from the reunion tour, signed to me by all four original members (and different pens so obviously different times) and then passes to the show they were doing a few months later near us. Turns out one of my dad's co-workers daughter was really good friends with Shannon Tweed. Dad and his friend had gotten to talking about their kids and he mentioned I was a huge KISS fan. My Dad didn't know Gene was with Shannon so didn't put two and two together, but his coworker talked to his daughter and asked her to get me an autograph if she could and she called up Shannon and got everything for me. Surprisingly, the passes were actually an idea from Gene because of me working my ass off to better myself, so as much as I hear people talk about him being a dick, I just think back to that and getting to meet them that May (took my best friend, too, now a successful lawyer) and thanking him for the passes and him remembering sending them.

I bought Shout At The Devil on cassette in '83. First time I heard the band and bought it strictly because I thought the band looked so cool. I lived in this tiny rural town in the Pacific Northwest and this punk kid from L.A. had just moved there. He saw me with the cassette in school and made fun of me mercilessly because he knew them from when he lived down there. A year later, that poser was hanging with the preppy crowd and wearing sweaters and shit and I was listening to Metallica and Slayer. Yeah, Motley was a disappointment after this record, but Shout At The Devil absolutely RULES. Love it. 🤘

Zachary Phillip Wylde his real name is Jeffrey Phillip Wielandt So great job coming up with that on the fly like that. Ozzy's recordings were always great. Even those albums that he put out that I never cared for. His recording productions are always top notch. I wish someone would go back through all those old Sabbath albums and show them the love that Ozzy's albums have received. My three favorite Ozzy albums were always his first three solo albums. I wasn't a fan at all of the "Bark At The Moon" album. So Zakk was an exciting moment in time for me. I agree totally with you on "The Ultimate Sin" album. It didn't do nothing for me either. "No Rest For The Wicked" only had like two or three songs that I didn't like that much. I don't remember what song it was now, but one song on that album I absolutely hated. But I liked that album. Nothing like the first three though. Great video. It was cool listening to all the stories you guys told. Thanks for the video. I really enjoyed it. Peace..

Ozzy's first six solo studio albums are must-own albums. Never Say Die is one everyone should give a chance.

"Kinda" confused....You say the 1st 3 Ozzy records are great but..Say in the NEXT sentence, "I wasn't a fan at all of Bark at the Moon"...??? Quite confusing, actually......
