Oh my! I have only discovered Aunty Alice today. Heard of her lots, but today I've seen 5 videos of her speaking and singing and playing astounding paniolo style slack key guitar. Thank you very much. Oakland CA 2022

Oh my! Mahalo piha e Kawika for sharing this wonderful piece of Hawaiian music history. I have heard that she was quite strict with `olelo and was ana exacting kumu kiho`alu. I have heard of quite a few people who got some whacks with her cane. It was those high standards that produced many of the "masters" of today. Thanks again for the video. It is a true treasure. Me ke aloha pau`ole, Wanda

Aloha Wanda- Pehea `Oe? I stumbled upon this treasure quite by accident while researching material for an unrelated documentary project. I wish you folks could come for our grad party. Abrigos will play and my nieces will dance!

Mahalo for posting! I take Ki hoalu from one of her students, Ron Loo and he tells such wonderful, precious stories about his time with her. He wrote a song about her, Tutu's Garden, that was performed at Paliku Theater last night in Kaneohe, Hi. Puna
