I bought one of these a couple weeks before this video came out. The trigger was SO much worse than a standard glock. I also had a couple issues. The striker would drop when the trigger would reset and the slide lock didnt engage one the P-mags it came with. I thought at first it was a mag issue, but what I ended up doing was buying a glock lower parts kit for about 40 bucks and replaced the trigger housing, connector, trigger, trigger bar, and slide lock and the gun functioned perfectly after. Despite me not painting this gun in the best light, it is a gun I really enjoy. I love the aluminum frame. Now the the trigger has been replaced with a standard glock trigger, its not bad at all. All I’m trying to do is find best value for my fixed income bucks. *Can you sort it out and then teach us? @FernandoChaves
2 жыл бұрын
@@JohnDoe-nf7up That's a big part of it. Gaston Glock refuses to change that. The polymer covered steel magazine design is a "cultural" or "philosophical" necessity in his mind. Frankly, it's cosmetic with a design disadvantage. Though his designers, both in-house and contracted, have attempted to change it. Of course there is a tremendous disadvantage in the space required. Smaller could be done, but also capacity could be increased as we see in MBX Defender Ultimate Carry Magazines. They are steel without the space penalty of being covered in polymer.

Glock didn’t make the 43x/48 with more capacity so the sales of the g19 wouldn’t diminish. They care more about military contracts than what us normal folk want to buy. Thankfully shadow systems just released their version of a Glock-esque hellcat sized gun that holds more than the 43x and smaller
