yep, that's real common with the tech 7's, bad design. You may want to go back to stock foot pegs, they are industructable and will save your boots. Those alluminum aftermarket ones don't bend and can get a hairline fracture that will eventually fail and just break off suddenly. Stock ones bend and will show that they've been comprimised.

Yep, your right about those foot pegs. I have never broken a set yet, but I would rather have them bend then snap off. I did think about how sharp they were when I bought them. After having them for a while now they have become more dull, but if I did it again, I would file them a little flat. Thanks for watching.

If you ride alot and your getting 3 years out of your boots your getting your money's worth. I wouldn't ride with boots that have a ton of hours on them. 2 seasons and they are shit canned.

Hey Matthew. I agree that after a couple years I’m getting my money’s worth. I do ride a lot. I try to ride most weekends.

Great video dude. Hearing people real experience with gear is great and worth 1000 times more than online reviews that people write before using the products for more than a week.. 👍

Well I did it by just last minute. Saw the boots and said let’s do it. So yeah all I ever see is when there is a new review so I figured I would say what happens later. I go thru boots real easy.

Sidi is a narrow boot , you should have gone with SG-22 wider toe box , true to size and better boot .

You are correct. They are a narrow boot. But I don’t think the SG-22 was afford at the time I did the video. The next boot I had to try was the SG-12. But the 22 might be the next. As of right now, the SIDI boot I do like although I think they are hard to buckle. So I think it’s time to do a video on the SIDI.

@1Rustychain I've had them all and I've come back to Tech 7 Drystars . They give me.all the protection I need and all day comfortable. I had the Sidi Crossfire 2 and Tech 10s both really nice boots but ended up selling them both. They are perfect for motocross riders but just too much for the trail. (My opinion ) That said , I appreciate your video , I'm going to be watching my ankle hinges like a hawk now. That's got me paranoid now , getting hung up on your bike is scary stuff. Thanks for the video, ride safe brother.

@@1Rustychain I was happy you mentioned your new SIDI's at the end, my buddy was recommending those. I actually just pulled the trigger on a set of Leatt 4.5's that were pretty cheap($170) on rocky MTN.

@@nickseoud9813 that’s a good buy. I did like mine until they tore out the side, but I do ride a lot so I worked them over pretty good.
