Have this brew kit which is fantastic value and probably all you need to cook when camping or walking

Agreed. It's not the lightest, so I won't use it on longer solo backpacking trips but it's reliable and great value for everything else.

Thanks for the review. I’ve just bought one to replace my failing JetBoil. I’d already replaced the complete burner unit a few years ago, and despite following KZitem advice on cleaning the jet mechanism, I could never achieve the output I used to get, even with new gas canisters. Looking forward to trying out the Brukit

Great long term review Andy. The stuff you keep coming back to is the best and has stood the test of time. Looks like you've three good solutions here. What I didn't understand was this strange idea of looking at your kit and reviewing whether you need to replace any of it... At this time of year? I think I do that several times each camp!

Fortunately, I have a good core of gear that works, so I only replace stuff when it breaks or wears out and even then if I can't repair it. You will be the same. You will find out what works and what doesn't, keep the good stuff and replace the rest over time. Looking forward to your next trip !

Not a lot of sun here in Lancashire, been raining for two months! Probably a month of wind next! Looking forward to the two weeks of sun we usually get each year! Best wishes.

Actually, in the sun today and out of the wind it was quite nice. I am hoping we might get something colder and clearer before winter finishes.

Great pit of kit , similar to my Jet boil , but yours has the pan option as added bonus 😊

That’s a good review. I like Alpkit stuff but at 67 with dodgy knees, I keep the weight and bulk down. Soto Windmaster is my stove of choice. Atb

Quite understandable. Its not the lightest but very efficient and easy to use.
