"I just want to love you in my own language" to me is one of the most beautiful lines from a song in recent memory. I recently discovered alt-J but there are 4 or so songs I really like.

The more they play this song live, the better they get! This is their best live performance of this song yet. Leaps and bounds from some live sets they did when the song first came out

Was feeling pretty bummed out today and then on the way home Alt-J was playing live on KEXP Drive Time and I saw my first bumblebee of spring and I felt like a little hope. I just had to listen to 3WW once I got home.

3WW - alt-j (lyrics) There was a wayward lad Stepped out one morning The ground to be his bed The sky his awning Neon, neon, neon A blue neon lamp in a midnight country field Can't surround so you lean on, lean on So much your heart's become fond of this Oh, these three worn words Oh, let me whisper like the rubbing hands Of tourists in Verona I just want to love you in my own language Well, that smell of sex Good like burning wood The wayward lad laid claim To two thirsty girls from Hornsea Who left a note when morning came Girls from the pool say Hi (hi) The road erodes at five feet per year Along England's east coastline Was this your first time? Love is just a button we pressed Last night by the campfire Oh, these three worn words Oh, that we whisper like the rubbing hands Of tourists in Verona I just want to love you in my own language

You actually got a lot of the lyrics wrong The actual lyrics: There was a wayward lad Stepped out one morning The ground to be his bed The sky his awning Neon, neon, neon A blue neon lamp in a midnight country field Cows surround so you lean on, lean on So much your hugs become hold ons Oh, these three worn words Oh, that we whisper Like the rubbing hands Of tourists in Verona I just want to love you in my own language Well, that smell of sex Good like burning wood The wayward lad lay claim To two thirsty girls from Hornsea Who left a note when dawn came "Girls from the pool say 'Hi' (hi) The road erodes at five feet per year Along England's east coastline Was this your first time? Love is just a button we pressed Last night by the camp fire." Oh, these three worn words Oh, that we whisper Like the rubbing hands Of tourists in Verona I just want to love you in my own language
